【発明の効果】上述したように、本発明のコイル端面保
加熱装置は、複数のコイルを順次下流側に搬送し、最終
ポジションにおいてコイルを巻き戻して仕上圧延する装
置において、コイルを巻き戻しながら最終ポジションへ
の搬送中および仕上圧延の際にコイルが位置する最終ポ
ジションにおいてコイルの端面を加熱でき、かつ不良コ
イルを容易に取り出すことができる、等の優れた効果を
有する。

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 熱間圧延材を芯なしでコイル状に巻き取
る巻き取り機構と、芯なしコイルの中空孔にコイルの両
端面からマンドレルをそれぞれ挿入し、このマンドレル
を揺動させて下流側に搬送する搬送手段とを備えた装置
において、 中心にマンドレル貫通用中空孔を有しコイル端面に対向
して加熱する平板状のヒータパネルと、該ヒータパネル
をコイルの両端面に対向してコイル幅方向に移動させる
ヒータ移動装置とを有しており、 前記搬送手段は、マンドレルをコイルの中空孔に挿入す
る横移動部と、該横移動部を揺動させて下流側へ搬送す
る揺動部を備えており、前記ヒータ移動装置は前記横移
動部に取付けられている、ことを特徴とするコイル端面
保加熱装置。
