数の位置に設けられているので、定着ローラの強度が大
幅に向上するとともに、定着ローラに対して補強部材を
確実に装填でき、補強部材の移動や破損等が発生しない
という効果がある。請求項3に記載の発明は、円筒状平
坦部は、軸方向に複数のスリットが設けられて分割され
ており、定着ローラと円筒状平坦部とのスポット溶接
は、全円周に対して均等分した複数の位置に設けられて
いるので、定着ローラの強度が大幅に向上するととも
に、補強部材の加工と、その装着が確実かつ容易であ
り、補強部材の移動や破損等が発生しなくて、定着ロー
ラが変形しなくて低コストであり、充分な機械的強度と
耐久性を有する定着装置がえられるという効果がある。
請求項4に記載の発明は、定着装置において、定着ロー
ラ内に補強部材の移動を防止する部材を設けたので、定
着ローラの強度が大幅に向上するとともに、スポット溶
接が不要であって加工工程が少なくてよく、定着ローラ
に対して補強部材を確実に装着することができて、補強
部材の移動や破損等が発生しなくて、定着ローラが変形
しなくて低コストであり、充分な機械的強度と耐久性を
有する定着装置がえられるいという効果がある。請求項
5に記載の発明は、定着装置において、定着ローラと係
合する補強部材の外縁部が円筒状平坦部を有したリング
状に形成され、定着ローラ中央部において2個の補強部
材が前記円筒状平坦部をそれぞれ反対方向に向けて設け
られているので、定着ローラの強度が大幅に向上すると
ともに、スポット溶接が不要であって加工工程が少なく
てよく、補強部材の移動や破損等が発生しなくて、定着
ローラが変形しなくて低コストであり、充分な機械的強
度と耐久性を有する定着装置がえられるという効果があ
る。
