Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine capable of continuously and efficiently stripping off a skin of scallion by a relatively simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: This machine has a conveying unit 4 horizontally conveying the object crop plant 'w' cramping at the leaf part, current guide plate unit 10 set along the conveying path way of the conveying unit, at least one pair of water ejection nozzles 32, 34 mounted between this guide plate unit and conveying unit. This guide plate unit has a pair of guide plates 11, 11 covering the upper and lower part of the pathway of the root part of the treating crop plant and the conveyer side of these guide plates apart each other approximately symmetrically according to approach to the conveyer unit side. The water ejection nozzle is set to inject a high pressure water to the constant range that is forming the pathway of the root part of the crop plant between the pair of guide plates.

The guide action based on the shape of the side guides the jet water from the nozzle 34 into the space between the guide plates 11 and 11 without waste, and at the same time, the ambient air is vigorously sucked by the interaction with the flow of the jet water to guide the guide plate. Carry it into the space between 11 and 11,
The flow of the jet water and the flow of the atmosphere are converged on the minimum clearance between the guide plates 11, 11.

Therefore, the dead leaves of the armpit w and the thin skin of the root are surely peeled by the above-mentioned flow in the direction opposite to the growth direction thereof, separated, and shredded and carried to the rear of the flow,
It flows down with the water onto the filter surface 41.

These dead leaves and thin skins flow down on the filter surface 41 and fall into the drain gutter 44,
It will be discharged to the outside of the machine through the discharge pipe 45 and the lower discharge pipe 46, and most of the water flowing on the filter surface 41 will be filtered by the filter surface 41 before reaching the discharge gutter 44, and inside the water tank unit 1. Then, this water is supplied to the water jet nozzle 34 again.

The armpit w which has passed the vicinity of the water jet nozzles 34, 34 reaches the vicinity of the air jet nozzles 40.
Here, the flow of the air jetted from the nozzle 40 and the flow of the air carried between the guide plates 11, 11 by this air flow are based on the guide action based on the shape of the guide plates 11, 11 on the side of the transport device 4. It is more converged, and the root side of the armpit w receives such an air flow above and below and effectively separates the adhered water.

After that, the armpit w is discharged from the other side surface portion a3 of the opening 3, reaches the end of conveyance of the conveyance device 5, and is positioned on the filter surface 9. At this time, the filter surface 9 removes the water remaining in the armpit w by the direct water suction action of the sponge material, and drops the armpit w to a specific position. The water sucked by the sponge material is guided by the guide tube 8.
It is returned to the inside of the water tank portion 1 through the inside.

During the above-mentioned peeling process, the endless pinching / conveying belts 5 and 5 continuously convey a unit amount of the armpit w, and each belt 5 is independently driven by another motor 6. Therefore, the sponge-like belts 5 and 5 do not extend unevenly, and evenly convey the upper and lower leaves of the armpit w to stabilize the leaves without damaging the leaves. It will be transported.
