Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the condensate of the steam generated by fermentation from dropping into a treating vessel and to normally execute fermentation by microoganisms without trouble by constituting the cap of the treating vessel to a conical shape or domed ceiling shape and providing the peripheral part of the cap with a trough part for a sump. SOLUTION: The cap 8 of the fermentation treating vessel 2 is formed to the conical shape or domed ceiling shape having the gradually lowering peripheral part and the peripheral part of the cap 8 is provided with a trough part 9. The trough part 9 is properly provided with a drain device for discharging the liquid stored therein. The steam generated by the fermentation of the org. industrial waste in the treating vessel 2 of this org. waste fermentation treating device 1 is condensed by the rear surface of the cap 8. The condensate runs on the rear surface of the cap 8 and flows down the peripheral part thereof until the condensate accumulates in the trough part 9. The amt. at which the condensate on the rear surface of the cap 8 drops down into the treating vessel 2 is small and the ratio of the water to carriers for fermentation of the industrial waste increased to a prescribed ratio or above is suppressed. The fermentation is thus normally executed without trouble.
