Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably and continuously detect rotational abnormality, particularly, a nonrotating condition in a nondriven roller by detecting rotational abnormality of the roller on the basis of a vibration signal of a roller support part. SOLUTION: It is arranged in a housing of a support roller in a plating line pot, and detects vibrational acceleration in a feed plate. A detected signal is amplified by a vibration amplifier 4, and is outputted to an active band-pass filter 5. On the other hand, operation is performed on a roller rotating frequency from a line speed signal and a roller diameter inputted from an external part by an operation circuit 6, and a central frequency of the active band-pass filter is determined. The active band-pass filter 5 varies a filtering band by this central frequency, and extracts only the roller rotating frequency. A signal level is monitored by a judging circuit 7, and when it exceeds a threshold value, an alarm is outputted by an alarm device 8. Therefore, an alarm is outputted at a high detecting rate, and an unrotating condition is detected in its early stages.

ウジングに伝達する振動は、多種多様であるが通板速度
を対象とするロールの回転数を演算回路を用いて算出
し、本理論回転数からアクティブバンドパスフィルター
の中心周波数を設定しロールの回転周波数を優先的に抽
出する為、振動センサー信号に含まれる外乱ノイズを除
去し、ロールの回転のみを検出できることから確実にロ
ールの回転異常、例えば不転状態の検出が可能である。
かつロールに近接していない箇所にセンサーの設置が可
能である為センサー破損の危険性もない。

ン速度信号とロール径からロール回転周波数を演算しア
クティブバンドパスフィルター5の中心周波数を決定し
ておく。アクティブバンドパスフィルター5は、この中
心周波数でフィルタリング帯域を可変し、ロール回転周
波数のみを抽出する。判定回路7で信号レベルを監視
し、しきい値を越えた時警報を出力し、警報装置8によ
り警報を発生する装置構成としている。本発明は、例え
ば上記の様な装置を用いて実施されるが装置の具体的な
構成は本発明の目的を達成し得る範囲で任意に変更する
ことができる。
