Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect an eaves gutter from being damaged by mounting an outdoor side wall of an eves gutter on a roof substantially directly under the lower end of the roof and connecting an upper side edge of an eaves edge material to the lower end of the roof and allowing the lower edge to drop into the eaves gutter. CONSTITUTION: A part of an upper side edge 31 of an eaves edge material comprising a continuous length body made of a zinc-plated steel plate is cut off so as to conform to the shape of a rib 13 of a roof 1. This eaves edge material 3 is fixed with the lower end of the roof 1 with a small machine screw 6. The eaves edge material 3 is bent at the central part 32 so that the lower side edge 33 of the eaves edge material 3 may be located in an eaves gutter 2. The outdoor side wall 21 of the eaves gutter 2 is mounted to the lower end of the roof 1 so that it may be located substantially under the lower end of the roof 1. Then, rainwater which drops from the roof 1 flows running alone the surface of the eaves edge material 3 from the roof 1 and drops into the eaves gutter 2 from the lower side edge 33 of the eaves edge material 3 suspended into the eaves gutter 2. Therefore, this construction makes it possible to allow accumulated snow to drop outside the eaves gutter when the accumulated snow 7 drops from the roof and prevent damages caused by the drop impact of accumulated snow 7.

2. Description of the Related Art Originally, eaves gutters are installed so as to reliably receive rainwater from the roof. However, when the roof is covered with snow, the snow falls, and the snow is also received by the eaves gutter, which causes a problem that the eaves gutter and the metal fittings of the eaves gutter are damaged. In the case of an arched roof, since the slope at the lower end of the roof is nearly vertical, the impact when snow falls is large, and the above problem is likely to occur.

In order to solve the above problems, an eaves gutter apparatus disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 59-179956 has been conventionally known. The eaves trough device described in the above publication is attached to the eaves end part by supporting one end of the gutter receiving metal fitting with a shaft, and hanging the eaves trough on the gutter receiving metal fitting, while the eaves trough is connected to the eaves drainage outlet through a bellows-shaped trough. Attached, the eaves gutter is turned around the gutter supporting the gutter receiving metal fittings, and it is a eaves gutter device that can be pulled in from the eaves part and fixed so that the falling snow does not fall directly on the eaves gutter. There is.

However, in the eaves trough device described in the above publication, the eaves trough is artificially pulled from the eaves part at the time of snowfall, or when the snowfall ends and it rains. It was inconvenient because I had to bother pulling it out. Also, in the severe cold season when it snows,
The shaft that supports the gutter bracket freezes and sticks, so even if you try to turn the eaves gutter, it may not work,
It could be a problem.

The present invention has been made to achieve the above object. According to the invention of claim 1, eaves gutters and eaves members are provided along the eaves of the roof. In the eaves structure, the eaves trough consists of an outdoor side wall, an indoor side wall, and a bottom, and the eaves trough is attached with the outdoor side wall of the eaves trough positioned almost directly below the lower end of the roof, and the eaves trough is a long body. And the upper edge of the eaves material is joined to the lower end of the roof,
The eaves end structure is characterized in that the central part is bent toward the indoor side, and the lower edge part is suspended so as to be located in the eaves gutter.

Further, the invention of claim 2 is an eaves structure in which eaves gutters and eaves members are provided along the eaves of a roof, the eaves gutters being composed of an outdoor side wall, an indoor side wall and a bottom, The eaves edge material is a long body, and the upper edge of the eaves edge material is attached to the lower end of the roof with a gap between it and the upper surface of the roof, and the lower edge is the outside of the outdoor side wall of the eaves gutter. The eaves structure is characterized by being hung on the.

In the invention of the second aspect, the upper edge portion of the eaves tip member is attached to the lower end portion of the roof in such a state that there is a gap between the upper edge member and the roof. There are various methods of making such a structure. For example, in the case of a metal roof, continuous ribs are formed in a convex shape for reinforcement, and in the case of a corrugated slate, peaks and valleys are shaped, so the eaves material is a convex rib of a metal roof, or a corrugated roof. It may be attached to a slate mountain so that a gap is created between the eaves material and the roof. Conversely, the eaves tip material may be provided with a concave rib and attached to the roof so that a gap is generated between the eaves tip material and the roof. Furthermore, the eaves tip material and the roof may be attached via a spacer so that a gap is created between the eaves tip material and the roof.

In the eaves structure of claim 1, the upper edge of the eaves material is joined to the lower end of the roof, the central portion is bent toward the inside, and the lower edge is hung so as to be located in the eaves gutter. Therefore, rainwater that has fallen onto the roof flows from the upper edge of the eaves material along the surface of the eaves material, and falls into the eaves from the lower edge that is suspended in the eaves. On the other hand, when the snowfall on the roof falls, the snowfall freezes and becomes an ice body, slides down, projects at the eaves, breaks into blocks, and falls. At this time, since the outdoor side wall of the eaves trough is located almost directly below the lower end of the roof, the block-shaped snowfall falls outside the eaves trough without entering the eaves trough.

Further, in the eaves tip structure according to claim 2, since the upper edge of the eaves tip material is attached to the lower end of the roof with a gap between the eave tip material and the upper surface of the roof, rainwater dropped on the roof. Is guided through the gap into the eaves gutter. On the other hand, when the snow on the roof falls, the lower edge of the eaves material is hanging outside the outdoor side wall of the eaves gutter, so the snow falling from the bottom of the roof becomes a block and is guided to the eaves material. It does not slide down, falls outside the eaves gutter, and no snow falls inside the eaves gutter.

Therefore, in the eaves tip structure according to the first and second aspects, the eaves trough and the eaves trough receiving metal fitting are not damaged by the impact of falling snow. Further, unlike the conventional eaves gutter apparatus described in the above publication, the work of pulling the eaves gutter into the eaves tip portion or withdrawing it is unnecessary. Furthermore, unlike the conventional eaves gutter device, the problem that the eaves gutter device freezes and does not operate does not occur.

According to the eaves structure of claim 1, rainwater falling from the roof is guided to the eaves trough along the surface of the eaves material.
The snowfall that falls from the roof is designed to fall outside the eaves trough without entering the eaves trough, so the eaves trough and the eaves trough bracket will not be damaged by the falling impact of the snowfall.
You can use it with confidence. Further, the eaves structure of the present invention is convenient because it does not require the work of pulling the eaves gutter into and out of the eaves portion, unlike the conventional eaves gutter device. Furthermore, unlike the conventional eaves trough device, the eaves trough device does not freeze and stop operating.

In the eaves structure of claim 2, rainwater falling from the roof is introduced into the eaves trough through a gap between the eaves material and the roof, and snow falling from the roof does not enter the eaves trough. ,
Since it is designed to fall outside the eaves gutter, claim 1
As in the invention of (1), the eaves gutter and the eaves gutter receiving bracket are not damaged by the falling impact of snow and can be used with peace of mind. Further, as in the case of the first aspect of the invention, the same is true in convenience.
