2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, Japanese Patent Publication No. 60-15536 discloses a device for detecting the occurrence of collapse of accumulated coins. This device detects the height of the coins accumulated in the accumulating cylinder by contacting the magnet provided on the upper arm and the reed switch whose height changes according to the denomination, thereby detecting the coins at the accumulating position. The collapse of stacking is detected, and the packaging process is interrupted when the collapse of stacking is detected. On the other hand, Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-6774 has already disclosed a device for detecting a coin that has stood up during packaging and further dropped and dropped on a roll chute. In this device, when loose coins fall on the roll chute, the roll chute and the gate provided below the roll chute are electrically connected to each other. Therefore, detection of electric conduction between the roll chute and the gate is detected. It is determined that an abnormality has occurred.

However, in the former device, there is a means for detecting when a part of the accumulated coins pops out while the coins are being moved from the stacking position to the packaging position. Absent. Therefore, if coins pop out during the movement from the stacking position to the packaging position after the coins are normally stacked at the stacking position, it cannot be determined that the coins are insufficiently packed. Also in the latter device, even when the coins pop out during the movement of the accumulated coins from the stacking position to the packaging position, or when the rising coins are bounced off by the caulking claws and pop out, If the pop-out coin does not bring the roll chute and the gate into conduction, it cannot be judged as insufficient packaging. Furthermore,
In any of the devices, it is not possible to detect a defective packaging such as a crimping defect that occurs when the coin is wrapped in a rising state. From the above, there is a possibility that an erroneous operation may occur in which a defective package or a defective package is determined as a normal package and discharged.

Next, the operation of the coin wrapping machine having the above structure will be described. First, when the denomination of coins to be wrapped by the operation unit 44 is set, the CPU 56 sorts and counts the coins of the set denomination from a storage unit (not shown) through the counting unit mechanism 45 while accumulating the accumulation units. The sheets are sent to the cylinder 11 one by one. And
When it is determined from the count data output from the counting unit mechanism 45 that the number of coins sent to the stacking cylinder 11 has reached the predetermined number, further coins are sent to the stacking cylinder 11 until the next packaging. Stop once. Then, the CPU 56 starts the rotation of the wrapping paper supply motor 52 to start the supply of the wrapping paper to the wrapping unit 22 at the timing when all the predetermined number of coins are stacked in the stacking cylinder 11. Then, during the supply of the wrapping paper, the cam motor 49 is started to rotate so that the upper holding member 13 and the lower holding member 14 are horizontally swung toward the stacking cylinder 11 (the position of the upper holding member 13 shown by a chain line in FIG. 1). ).

Here, the CPU 56 causes at least the upper holding member 13 and the lower holding member 14 to stack the accumulated coins C.
Before the start of the movement of the pin voltage detection sensor 41, the detection of the potential of the upper pin 18 on the high potential side is started by the pin voltage detection sensor 41, and the output from the pin voltage detection sensor 41 is monitored. Then, for example, if a part of the integrated coin C does not pop out, the electrical short circuit between the upper pin 18 and the lower pin 20 is maintained by the integrated coin C, so that the CPU
At 56, by the output from the pin voltage detection sensor 41,
Since the potential is low, that is, the potential of the upper pin 18 on the high potential side provided with the pin voltage detection sensor 41 has not changed, a normal number of the integrated coins C are stored in the packaging unit 22. Judged as having been transported.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5, when the stacking state of the stacking coins C is bad, a part of the stacking coins C may pop out or the coin may collapse when moving, and in this case, at least instantaneously. , Upper pin 18 and integrated coin C
Between the coins of the accumulated coins C, or between the coins of the accumulated coins C
Since a separated state, that is, an electrically open state occurs between the lower pin 20 and the lower pin 20, the CPU 56 causes the output from the pin voltage detection sensor 41 to increase the potential generated at least instantaneously, that is, the pin voltage. It is detected that the voltage of the upper pin 18 on the high-potential side provided with the detection sensor 41 is high, and therefore, a part of the accumulated coin C pops out between the accumulation position and the packaging position. This is notified by the display unit 43, and a stop signal is output to the packaging unit mechanism 47 to stop the packaging process.

When the accumulated coins C do not pop out, the CPU 56 stops the wrapping paper supply motor 52 at a predetermined timing while moving the accumulated coins C toward the wrapping section 22, and moves the wrapping paper. Stop the supply. Further, while the accumulated coins C are moving, the front end of the wrapping paper is wrapped by the wrapping rollers 23, 2
Therefore, the CPU 56 moves the accumulated coins C to the packaging position at the same timing as the above.
At the same time, the packaging roller 25 that has been retracted is replaced by the packaging roller 2
The coins C are moved to the 3rd and 24th sides and brought into contact with the accumulated coins C and pressed against the packaging rollers 23 and 24. As a result, the wrapping paper is held between the stacking coin C and at least one of the wrapping rollers 23 to 25.

Then, the CPU 56 drives the wrapping motor 51 to rotate the wrapping rollers 23 to 25 without releasing the holding of the upper holding member 13 and the lower holding member 14 after the movement of the accumulated coins C to the wrapping position is completed. The accumulated coin C is rotated. As a result, the wrapping paper is wrapped around the stacking coin C, and the wrapping paper is in a tension state due to this wrapping, and the detection plate 32 is swung in the direction of the wrapping rollers 23 to 25 and pressed by the cutter 30 to be cut. . Due to the cutting of the wrapping paper, the detection plate 32 swings to the original position and the wrapping paper cutting sensor 33 that is interlocked with the detection plate 32 is activated. The output of the wrapping paper cutting sensor 33 confirms the wrapping and cutting of the wrapping paper. To do.

When an abnormality is detected, for example, when wrapping or cutting of the wrapping paper is not confirmed even after a lapse of a predetermined time from the start of driving the wrapping motor 51, the CPU
56 outputs a stop signal to the wrapping mechanism 47 to stop the wrapping process and then informs the display unit 43 that there is an abnormality in the paper cutting. If no abnormality is detected in the paper cutting,
The upper crimping arm 35 and the lower crimping arm 3 are provided at a predetermined timing when the wrapping paper is completely wrapped around the accumulated coin C.
7 integrally swings, and the upper crimping claw 34 and the lower crimping claw 36 crimp the upper end and the lower end of the wrapping paper wound around the stacked coins C.

Here, at the timing before the caulking is performed after wrapping the wrapping paper around the accumulated coins C, the cam motor 49 is performed.
As a result, only the upper holding member 13 is lifted, and as shown by the solid line in FIG. 4 (b), the upper pin 18 has a lower end position lower than the upper ends of the packaging rollers 23 to 25. Separate it slightly from the top. Then, when the upper pin 18 is slightly separated in this way, the pin voltage detection sensor 41 starts detecting the voltage of the upper pin 18 on the high potential side, and the output from the pin voltage detection sensor 41 is monitored.
If, during packaging, for example, a part of the integrated coin C does not rise, the upper pin 18 and the lower pin 20 are in a separated state, that is, in an electrically open state. Therefore, the CPU 56 detects the pin voltage. It is detected by the output from the sensor 41 that the potential is high, that is, the potential of the upper pin 18 on the high potential side is high, and it is determined that the integrated coin C is packed in the normal state. .

On the other hand, for example, when the stacking state is not good when the coins are stacked, the packing roller 2 is packed.
Due to the impact of being clamped between 3 to 25, as shown in FIG. 4C, a part of the accumulated coin C pushes up the upper clamping member 13 against the clamping force regardless of the operation of the cam motor 49. While standing up sometimes. When such rising occurs, although the upper pin 18 is operated so as to be separated from the integrated coin C, the upper pin 1
8, the integrated coin C and the lower pin 20 are in a contact state, that is, an electrical short-circuit state. Therefore, in the CPU 56, the potential is low due to the output from the pin voltage detection sensor 41, that is, the upper pin 18 on the high potential side. It is detected that the voltage is low, and accordingly, it is assumed that a part of the accumulated coins C has risen in the packaging unit 22, and this is notified by the display unit 43, and the packaging unit mechanism 47 cancels. A signal is output to stop the packaging process.

In addition, the coins C accumulated for some reason during the crimping
Even when a part of the upper pin 18 rises, the upper pin 18, the integrated coin C, and the lower pin 20 are brought into contact with each other, that is, an electrical short-circuit at least instantaneously. The output from 41 detects at least the instantaneous low potential state, and therefore the same processing as described above is performed. As a result, caulking will not be performed in a state in which a part of the accumulated coins C has risen, so that the wrapping paper will not be sufficient, or the coins that have risen will pop out due to interference with the caulking claws. There is no shortage of packaging. After the completion of the crimping, when the rising of the accumulated coins C is not detected, it is determined that the coins are normally packaged normally and the upper clamping member 13 and the lower clamping member 14 are both separated from the packaging coins. As shown in FIG. 4B, the vertical position of the upper pin 18 at this time is indicated by a chain double-dashed line.

As described above, according to the coin wrapping machine of this embodiment, the pin voltage detecting sensor 41 allows the upper pin 1
8 and the lower pin 20, a constant voltage is applied and the actual potential difference, that is, the voltage of the upper pin 18 on the high potential side is detected, and the CPU 56 collects the accumulated coins C by the potential detected by the pin voltage detection sensor 41. Detects anomalies,
When the stacking abnormality is detected, the packaging process is interrupted and the occurrence of the stacking abnormality and the content thereof are notified. That is, CP
When U56 holds the accumulated coin C by the upper holding member 13 and the lower holding member 14 and moves it to the packaging position,
The potential detected by the pin voltage detection sensor 41 causes an abnormal potential in the state where the integrated coin C is clamped by the upper clamping member 13 and the lower clamping member 14, that is, between the upper clamping member 13 and the lower clamping member 14 which should not occur. When the electrical open state is detected, the occurrence of popping out of the stacked coins C is detected, the packaging process is interrupted, and the pop-up of the stacked coins C is displayed at a position between the stacking positions. The section 43 notifies it. Further, the upper holding member 13 and the lower holding member 14 slightly separate the upper holding member 13 from the accumulated coin C at the packaging position, and in this state, the CPU 56 causes the pin voltage detection sensor 4 to move.
1, the potential abnormality in the state where the integrated coin C is not clamped by the upper clamping member 13 and the lower clamping member 14, that is, the electrical short circuit between the upper clamping member 13 and the lower clamping member 14 which should not occur When the rising of the accumulated coin C is detected, the packaging process is interrupted, and the display unit 43 notifies that the accumulated coin C has risen in the packaging unit 22.

Therefore, by detecting the pop-out of coins and the rising of the coins at the packaging position when the coins are moved from the stacking position to the packaging position, it is possible to judge that the coins which are insufficiently packed or badly packed are normal and are discharged. Can be reliably prevented. Moreover, since the contents of the abnormality and the location of the abnormality are displayed on the display unit 43, the post-treatment can be smoothly performed.

As described in detail above, the first aspect of the present invention
According to the described coin wrapping machine, the detection means provides a potential difference between the holding members, detects one potential, and the control means detects the accumulation abnormality of the accumulated coins by the potential detected by the detection means. For example, a potential abnormality occurs when the accumulated coins are sandwiched by the sandwiching members, that is, a coin pops out due to detection of an electrical open state that should not occur, and a potential abnormality occurs when the accumulated coins are not sandwiched by the sandwiching members, that is, it occurs. Detects the rise of coins due to the detection of an electrical short circuit condition that should not occur. Then, when the stacking abnormality is detected, the packaging process is interrupted and the occurrence of the stacking abnormality is notified. Therefore,
It is possible to reliably detect the popping out and rising of coins, and it is possible to reliably prevent the occurrence of an erroneous operation in which coins that are insufficiently packaged or defective are determined to be normal and discharged.

According to the coin wrapping machine of the third aspect of the present invention, the pair of holding means slightly separates the upper holding member from the accumulated coins at the wrapping position, and in this state, the control means. However, when the electrical short circuit between the pair of clamping members is detected by the potential detected by the detection means, the occurrence of the coin rise is detected, the packaging process is interrupted, and the coins in the accumulated state rise. Let me know that. Therefore, it is possible to reliably detect the rise of coins, and it is possible to reliably prevent the occurrence of a malfunction in which coins that are insufficiently packaged or poorly packaged are determined to be normal packages and discharged.
