2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, the processing of a photosensitive lithographic printing plate by an automatic developing machine is generally a developing process in which a developing solution is supplied to the photosensitive layer while the photosensitive lithographic printing plate is conveyed to elute the photosensitive layer imagewise. Then, a water washing treatment is performed in which the developer containing the eluate adhering to the plate surface is washed with water and washed away. Then, as a form of use of rinsing water in the rinsing treatment, water in the rinsing tank is sprayed from the shower nozzle onto the surface of the photosensitive lithographic printing plate to wash, and the water used for rinsing is returned to the rinsing tank and circulated. There are known a method of reusing, a method of disposing of washing water, and a method of replenishing the washing water to be reused with water in accordance with the carry-in from the developing step.

However, these methods have problems that the amount of washing waste liquid is large and the waste liquid recovery cost is high, and that the environment is polluted by discharge to the sewer. There was a problem that stains and sludge accumulated on the washing tank, the piping for circulating the washing water, the shower nozzle, etc., and the sludge adheres to the printing plate to cause printing stains unless the washing water is changed frequently. .

In order to reduce the cost of the waste water treatment device for washing water, it has been attempted to provide a filtering device such as a filter in the circulation system of the washing water. However, this method cannot sufficiently filter the printing plate. There was a phenomenon in which sludge adhered to the surface and caused printing stains. Further, since the dirt is generated in a relatively short period of time, it is necessary to frequently replace the washing water.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the alkali resistant film 23 in FIG. As shown in the figure, the alkali resistant film 23 is formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped box, and the inside thereof can be filled with activated carbon. The alkali-resistant film is provided with a large number of pores (not shown) of a size that allows washing water to pass therethrough without passing activated carbon particles. The box-shaped alkali resistant film 23 is filled with activated carbon inside and is supported and fixed by the inner wall of the washing tank 20 as shown in FIG. Note that, in FIG. 3, the conveying roller, the shower nozzle, and the like are not shown. In the washing tank 20 to which the alkali-resistant film 23 is fixed, the washing water flows through the pores of the alkali-resistant film 23, so that the adsorbed component to the activated carbon contained in the washing water is adsorbed by the activated carbon.
The pores may be provided on a part of the surface of the alkali resistant film 23. A cover may be provided on the alkali-resistant film 23 for the purpose of preventing the dissipation of activated carbon, and the alkali-resistant film 23 may be washed with a water tank 20.
When fixing it to the inside of the washing tank 20,
A guide member or a fixing member for guiding the insertion of or fixing the position may be provided. In the present invention, as means for fixing the activated carbon to the washing tank with the alkali resistant membrane, as described above, the alkali resistant membrane is formed into a box-shaped container, and the activated carbon is put into the box-shaped container to fix the container to the washing tank. It is not limited to the mode, and any means can be adopted.

Fixing member 50 filled with (made by Toyo Calgon Co., Ltd.) and shown in FIG.
24 liters of the following developer composition 1 was placed in the developing tank 5 using the processing device in which the fixing member 50 loaded in (stainless steel) was replaced.
Preparation, the liquid temperature was adjusted to 30 ° C., and the transport speed of the photosensitive lithographic printing plate was adjusted so that the development time was 12 seconds. The replenishment amount of the processing solution is 21 ml each time the replenishing amount of the following replenishing solution composition A is 5 m 2 of the photosensitive lithographic printing plate, 110 ml each time the operating time of the processing device reaches 1 hour, and the stop time of the processing device is 1 hour. The amount of replenisher of gum solution is 30 ml every 5 m 2 of the photosensitive lithographic printing plate, 17 ml every time the operation of the processing device reaches 1 hour, the stop time of the processing device It was adjusted to 17 ml per hour. Positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate KM (Konica Corporation)
Of 1003 mm × 800 mm, manufactured by Mitsui Chemical Co., Ltd.) was treated with 30 m 2 per liter of developer. During this treatment, the wash water after the treatment of 0 m 2 , 10 m 2 , 20 m 2 and 30 m 2 was taken out, and the stain resistance and reduction of the amount of waste water of the wash water were evaluated by the following evaluation methods.

Evaluation of Reduction of Amount of Waste Water of Washing Water The life of the wash water was evaluated as reduction of the amount of waste water of the washing water. While the photosensitive lithographic printing plate was being treated for 30 m 2 , the washing water failure was evaluated due to clogging of the shower nozzle for discharging the treatment liquid, generation of bubbles in the washing water, and the like.
