2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a vehicle seat, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a seat cover 111 for covering a mold pad 104 has a leather outer skin 115 and a cover pad 103.
It is known that a decorative pleat 121 is formed by gather sewing on a desired portion of the sheet cover 111. Further, although it is different from the decorative pleats by gather sewing in the related art, a decorative wrinkle is formed on the leather surface of the sheet cover, for example, in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 3-6059.
The one disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 9 is known. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, a soft material 216 made of synthetic resin cotton is provided on the back surface side of the leather skin 215. Then, on the side of the mold pad 204, a leather skin 215 is formed.
Also, the cover pad 203 is suspended, and the leather skin 215 is bitten by the soft material 216 in accordance with the difference in the density of the soft material 216, so that deep wrinkles 221a and shallow wrinkles 221b are respectively formed. Has become.

By the way, as shown in FIG. 8, in the conventional one in which the decorative folds 121 are formed by gather sewing, the arrangement interval of the decorative folds 121,
It is difficult to form the size, length, etc. between the sheet cover products without variation, and the hardness of the leather outer skin 115,
It will differ depending on the difference in wall thickness. Furthermore, FIG.
As shown in FIG. 5, the decorative fold 121 may be flattened by the load of the seated person and may not return to the decorative fold shape, resulting in poor appearance. Further, in the conventional one shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the wrinkles 221 a of the leather skin 215,
Although it is possible to prevent the flattening of the 221b, deep wrinkles 221a and shallow wrinkles 221b are formed due to the amount of the leather skin 215 digging in due to the difference in the density of the soft material 216. Length, length
It will be greatly different for each cover, and the variation generated between the sheet cover products will be further increased.

In the seat cover structure constructed as described above, the decorative folds are formed by gather sewing with the slit grooves of the backing pad as valleys.
The decorative folds are uniform between the sheet cover and the product without variation. Further, by appropriately changing the arrangement pitch and the length of the slit grooves of the backing pad, a desired decorative pleat can be obtained. Further, the decorative pleat is prevented from being flattened by the elastic force based on the soft elasticity of the backing pad. The backing pad is formed by entwining a woven cloth on the surface of the fiber layer with a needle punch, and the back surface of the leather skin is adhered to the woven cloth by an adhesive so that the adhesive is applied to the inside of the fiber layer. It prevents the problem that it penetrates into the fiber layer and hinders the softness and elasticity of the fiber layer, and some of the fibers of the fiber layer are projected through the woven fabric and adhered while sandwiched between the woven fabric and the leather skin. Glued by the agent.

Further, the decorative folds 21 are prevented from being flatly crushed by the elastic force based on the soft elasticity of the backing pad 16, and the shape of the decorative folds 21 is maintained for a long period of time. In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the case where the decorative pleat 21 is formed on the top plate portion 12 of the sheet cover 11 has been illustrated, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, it may be formed on the side stile portion 23 or the front stile portion 26. Further, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the backing pad 16 is the fiber layer 1.
Although the case where the fabric 9 and the woven fabric 18 are laminated is illustrated as an example, the invention is not limited to this.
Is formed of a urethane foam alone, and the slit groove 20 is formed in the backing pad 16 of the urethane foam.

As described above, according to the present invention,
Decorative folds can be formed uniformly between the sheet cover products without variation, and by appropriately changing the arrangement pitch and length of the slit grooves of the backing pad,
Any desired decorative pleat can be formed. Further, it is possible to prevent the decorative folds from being flattened by the elastic force based on the soft elasticity of the backing pad, and to maintain the shape of the decorative pleats for a long period of time. The backing pad is formed by entwining a woven cloth on the surface of the fiber layer with a needle punch, and the back surface of the leather skin is adhered to the woven cloth by an adhesive so that the adhesive is applied to the inside of the fiber layer. It is possible to prevent a defect that permeates into the fiber layer and hinders the flexibility and elasticity of the fiber layer, and it is possible to firmly and firmly adhere the leather surface skin and the backing pad to prevent peeling.
