較的長時間にわたってかつ確実に吹出し力が穀稈の穂先
側に作用するので、穀稈の穂先側が穂先側流下案内板に
対して浮き上がり気味となり、かつ補助的な搬送作用を
受けることになって、穀稈と流下案内板との摺接抵抗を
低減させ、穀稈搬送を円滑化させるのである。
