Description of the Related Art Recently, from the standpoint of protecting the global environment, protection of forest resources has become a major problem worldwide, and securing raw wood, which is a raw material for pulp for papermaking, has become difficult. Therefore, various non-wood pulp alternatives to wood pulp have been developed. However, even in the case of non-timber, it does not cost anything to procure materials, does not complicate the production process,
It must meet the requirements of good yield, no risk of pollution, and no deterioration of product quality.

Focusing on the fact that it is too large, I came up with the idea of using it for pulp production. However, dates fibers are long, hard, and difficult to melt, and thus it is difficult to immediately apply them to pulp production.

According to the present invention, dried date palm leaf portions (hereinafter referred to as "materials") are crushed. Into small pieces, put in an autoclave, add 10% potable soda, 0.05 to 0.1% anthraquinones, and preferably at least sulfuric acid.
10 minutes for about 60 minutes after adding 0.1 normal (specified concentration)
It is characterized in that pulp is obtained by digesting at a temperature not exceeding 0 ° C. and filtering the digested material.

In particular, since the trunk portion is hard, it cannot be cut into pieces by a usual cutting method. Therefore, it is appropriate to crush it into small pieces.

As described above, the yield is higher than that of conventional wood, and since it is a natural material, there is no fear of pollution due to air pollution, etc., and it does not contradict the global theme of forest resource protection.
Since the tough fibrous material unique to date palm can be used, the quality of the paper does not deteriorate when used in papermaking. Thanks to the tough fibrous material, a slab that can also be used as a building material can be obtained by laminating a plurality of carded pieces so that the flow of fibers is perpendicular to each other.
