The photosensitive drum packaging container according to the illustrated embodiment is configured as described above, and its operation will be described below with reference to FIGS. 7 to 9. When the photosensitive drum is housed in the packaging container, the light shielding paper 8 is wrapped around the outer peripheral surface of the photosensitive layer 61 of the photosensitive drum 6 to protect the photosensitive layer. The photosensitive drum 6 having the light-shielding paper 8 wound around the outer peripheral surface of the photosensitive layer 61 is housed in the housing recess 41 formed in the lower cushioning member 4. At this time, the flanges 62 and 63 attached to both ends of the photosensitive drum 6 are attached to the support portion 412 of the accommodation recess 41.
413, and thus the support surfaces 412, 413
A gap 10 is formed between the deeper bottom surface 411 and the light-shielding paper 8 wound around the outer peripheral surface of the photosensitive layer 61. In this way, when the photosensitive drum 6 is housed in the housing recess 41 formed in the lower cushioning member 4, the upper cushioning member 2 is covered on the lower cushioning member 4 and polymerized, and the fitting formed in the lower cushioning member 4 is performed. The fitting convex portion 425 and the fitting concave portion 22 formed in the upper cushioning member 2
6 and the fitting concave portion 42 formed on the lower cushioning member 4 and the fitting convex portion 225 formed on the upper cushioning member 2.
By fitting 6 together, both cushioning members are held in a joined state. At this time, the housing recess 2 formed in the upper cushioning member 2
The first support surfaces 212 and 213 are in a state of lightly contacting the flanges 62 and 63 attached to both ends of the photosensitive drum 6. In this way, by stacking the upper cushioning member 2 on the lower cushioning member 4, the photoreceptor drum 6 is housed in the photoreceptor drum housing space formed by the housing recesses facing each other. In this state, the convex grooves 221, 222, 22 formed in the joint portion 22 of the upper cushioning member 2 in the concave grooves 421, 422, 423, 424 formed in the joint portion 42 of the lower cushioning member 4.
3, 224 fit together. The ridges 221, 222, 22
The widths and heights of the grooves 3 and 224 are concave grooves 421 and 42.
Since the width and the depth of 2, 423 and 424 are smaller than the width and the depth, respectively, an absorption space 12 is formed between them in the fitted state as shown in FIG. This absorption space 1
2 functions as a space for accumulating dust or the like that passes through between the joint portion 42 of the lower cushioning member 4 and the joint portion 22 of the upper cushioning member 2 and has a function of preventing the intrusion into the accommodation recesses 21 and 41. is there. As described above, when the packaging containers accommodating the photoconductor drums are stacked for storage or transportation, as shown in FIG. 8, the engagement protrusions 231 formed on the outer peripheral portion 23 of the upper cushioning member 2 are formed. The engaging hole 431 formed in the outer peripheral portion 43 of the lower cushioning member 4 is engaged. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the collapse of loads when a large number of packaging containers are stacked and stored or transported.

The accommodating recess formed in the upper cushioning member and the lower cushioning member is provided at both ends thereof with support portions formed at a position shallower than the bottom surface of the accommodating recess. Since the flanges provided in the above are supported, a gap is formed between the photosensitive layer formed between the flanges and the bottom surfaces of the upper cushioning member and the lower cushioning member, so that an external force acts from the vertical direction. Also, the bottom surfaces of the upper cushioning member and the lower cushioning member do not contact the photosensitive layer, and therefore, the photosensitive layer can be reliably protected only by wrapping light-shielding paper on the outer peripheral surface of the photosensitive layer. Further, according to the present invention, since the upper cushioning member and the lower cushioning member constituting the packaging container are integrally molded by the synthetic resin, it is not necessary to assemble the corrugated board partition plate in a lattice shape unlike the conventional one. The packaging cost can be reduced and the generation of paper dust can be prevented in advance since the corrugated board partition plate is not used.

Further, according to the present invention, one of the upper cushioning member and the lower cushioning member is formed with a groove around the outside of the plurality of housing recesses, and the other is provided with a groove around the outside of the plurality of housing recesses. A convex strip that fits in the concave groove is formed in the concave groove, and the width and depth of the concave groove and the convex strip of the convex groove are configured so as to form an absorption space in the fitting portion in the fitted state of the concave groove and the convex strip. Since the width and height are set, the absorption space functions as a space for collecting dust or the like that enters between the joint portion of the lower cushioning member and the joint portion of the upper cushioning member, and the lower cushioning member and the upper cushioning member. It is possible to prevent dust and the like from entering the photosensitive drum housing space formed by the housing recess formed in the member.

Further, according to the present invention, the outer peripheral portions of the upper cushioning member and the lower cushioning member are formed at the same position as the bottom surface of the accommodating recess or at a position slightly deeper than the bottom surface, and one of the outer peripheral portions has an engaging projection. Since the engaging hole is formed in the other outer peripheral portion at a position corresponding to the engaging protrusion, when the packaging container accommodating the photosensitive drum is stacked for storage or transportation, the upper cushioning member or the lower cushioning member is formed. The engagement protrusion formed on the cushioning member is engaged with the engagement hole formed on the lower cushioning member or the upper cushioning member. Therefore, it is possible to prevent collapse of the load when a large number of packaging containers are stacked and conveyed.
