Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate a given water pressure required for ignition of a gas apparatus and provide shower discharge as the amount of water used is reduced and further to perform reliable ignition of the gas apparatus even in an area where the water pressure is low. CONSTITUTION:A shower nozzle 12 is mounted in an opening part situated on the downstream side of the water flow direction of a head body l coupled to the tip part of a shower hose 2. A porous plate 2 is attached to the tip discharge port 19 of the shower nozzle 12 through a head cover 20. A plurality of water flow passages 7, 8, and 17 having respective opening areas different from each other are arranged in the head body 1 and the shower nozzle 12 in an intercommunicating state in such a manner that the opening area is decreased stepwise in the direction of a water flow. A check valve 28 is located in a space 25 between an intake port 26 formed in the head body 1 and opened to the outside and a vent hole 24 communicating with an internal water flow passage 6.

2. Description of the Related Art In Japan, a serious water shortage occurs every few years, and words such as "Tokyo Desert" and "Capital Garden Desert" have been born. This is due to changes in climate such as low total precipitation and extreme heat, as well as artificial causes that the water of the dam is not always effectively used due to various conditions. In Japan, which is surrounded by sea on all four sides, desalination of seawater has been considered, but this desalination facility costs more than twice the normal cost and has a short life of about 20 years. Cannot expect progress. Therefore, as a measure against drought, the actual situation is that there are no effective measures other than water supply restrictions and frequent water conservation.

A shower device attracts particular attention for saving water. In the summer, a shower device is used instead of a bath for the purpose of saving water, and in recent years, as expressed by the word "morning shan" among young people,
It is popular to wash hair with a shower device when washing the face in the morning.

Generally, a relatively large 14 to 19 mm pipe diameter pipe is used in a shower device,
A lot of water is consumed. There is no other way to control this amount of water than to reduce the amount of water by squeezing the valve cock for tap water. However, since the pressure switch of the heating gas appliance in the shower device does not operate unless the water pressure is constant, the gas appliance does not ignite if the valve cock is excessively throttled. Since it is difficult to understand how to adjust the minimum water pressure required for ignition by manual operation of the valve cock, it is easy to use it without throttling the valve cock. On the other hand, in high-rise buildings and houses in hilly areas, the water pressure of tap water is low, so the valve cock is used with the valve open to the maximum for the purpose of reliably igniting gas appliances, and a large amount of water is consumed. ing.

In the water discharge head device for a shower device according to the first aspect, the water flowing from the shower hose can be increased in pressure extremely smoothly through a plurality of flowing water passages each having a gradually reduced opening area. Water the shower.
Therefore, even if the valve cock of the water faucet is squeezed to reduce the amount of water by, for example, about 20%, the water pressure will be the same as that of a normal shower water discharge, and the required water pressure must ignite the pressure switch of the gas appliance. You can

Further, in the water discharge head device for a shower device according to the second aspect, a negative pressure based on Bernoulli's theorem is generated due to the pressure of the water flowing through the flowing water passage of the head main body, and the outside air is sucked in from the intake port to ventilate. It is mixed with the water in the running water passage through the mouth. This gas-liquid mixed water becomes active water with a large amount of dissolved oxygen, and prevents pressure drop. Therefore, even in a high-rise building or a residential area in a hilly area where the water pressure of tap water is low, it is possible to reliably operate the pressure switch of the gas appliance to ignite.

Next, the operation of the water discharge head device of the above embodiment will be described. Water flowing from the shower hose (2) into the connecting flowing water passage (6) of the head body (1) has an opening area of 2/3 of the opening area of the connecting flowing water passage (6),
By flowing in the first to third throttle water flow passages (7), (8), (17) that gradually decrease in steps of 1/2 and 1/4, the pressure can be raised very smoothly, and for example, the passages There is no inconvenience that the flow velocity becomes extremely high as in the case of reducing the diameter of a part of the.

After that, shower water is discharged from the perforated plate (22) through the radially expanded water passage (18). Therefore, even if the water quantity is reduced by squeezing the valve cock of the water faucet, the water pressure will be the same as that of a normal shower water discharge. This required water pressure allows the pressure switch of the gas appliance to be reliably activated and ignited. According to the actual measurement, even if the amount of water used is reduced by about 20%, it is possible to reliably ignite the gas appliance and obtain a water pressure that provides a normal feeling of use. Along with this reduction in the amount of water used, the electric consumption of the water heater and the utility costs of the gas appliances can be considerably reduced, and the water bill can also be reduced.

In this embodiment, the following effects can be obtained in addition to the effects of the above embodiment. That is,
Due to the pressure of the water flowing in the head main body (1), a negative pressure based on Bernoulli's theorem is generated in a portion of the connection water flow passage (6) facing the vent hole (24). Therefore, the intake port (2
External air is sucked into the head body (1) through the air suction space (25) and the vent hole (24) from 6),
This air mixes with water. At this time, the intake of air is efficiently performed while rotating the check valve body (28) made of a sphere.

The gas-liquid mixed water becomes active water having a large amount of dissolved oxygen and prevents a decrease in water pressure. Therefore, even in a high-rise building or a residential area in a hilly area where the water pressure of tap water is low, it is possible to reliably operate the pressure switch of the gas appliance to ignite. If you stop using the shower,
Water flowing back from the shower nozzle (12) side flows into the air suction space (25) from the vent hole (24) and pushes the check valve body (28) outward. Therefore, the check valve body (28) closes the intake port (26) to prevent water leakage.

As described above, according to the water discharge head device for a shower device of the present invention, since a plurality of running water passages each having a gradually decreasing opening area in the water flow direction are provided, the shower hose can be removed. The pressure of the inflowing water can be increased extremely smoothly, and even if the water volume of the water faucet is reduced by reducing the valve cock, the water pressure can be made to be the same as that of a normal shower water discharge. The pressure switch of the gas appliance can be reliably operated and ignited by the required water pressure of. Therefore, in addition to the large water-saving effect, it is possible to obtain the effect of considerably saving the utility bill and the water bill of the water heater and the gas appliance.

Further, an intake port and a ventilation port communicating with an internal flowing water passage are formed in a part of the head body, and air is sucked from the intake port to the ventilation port in a space between the intake ports. If a check valve body that allows the above and that closes the intake port with backflow water is provided, the water that is automatically sucked from the outside by the flow of water becomes gas-liquid mixed water and becomes active water with a large amount of dissolved oxygen. Water pressure drop can be prevented. Therefore, even in a high-rise building where the water pressure of tap water is low, a house in a hilly area, or the like, the pressure switch of the gas appliance can be reliably operated to ignite.
