Detailed Description of the Invention
Low foaming liquid detergent composition
Technical field
The present invention relates to low foaming liquid detergent compositions.
Background technology
Anionic surfactant compositions are well known in the art and particularly hydrophobic grease stains.
It is a desirable ingredient in liquid detergents due to its good cleaning ability with respect to removal. Shi
However, the incorporation of anionic surfactants into typical detergent compositions has been shown to be highly foamable.
This results in a parabola.
Numerous systems for use in detergent compositions to eliminate the foaming ability of surfactants have been proposed.
Technically described. As such a foam suppressing system, an antifoaming agent such as silicone is used.
Listed. However, defoamers are associated with problems, such as
For example, it has difficulty maintaining as a dispersion in a liquid composition. In addition,
Defoamers are difficult and expensive to process.
Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a liquid detergent composition containing the anionic surfactant (the set).
The product has an antifoam profile, the composition requires a minimum amount of conventional foam suppressants)
To provide.
This means that when combined with a branched anionic surfactant, the usual anionic surfactant is used.
It has now been found that what can be achieved by formulating a liquid detergent composition containing a sex agent.
It was
Unexpectedly, such surfactant combinations give antifoam and at the same time are hydrophobic.
It has been found to improve the performance of the composition for grease stain removal.
Another advantage of the present invention is that the lathering is the branched counterpart of the linear anionic surfactant, i.e.
Is reduced by adaptation to Guerbet anionic surfactant and
As such, other foam suppressors may be used in minimal amounts.
Another advantage of the present invention is that the surfactant is formulated due to the increased solubility of the surfactant.
Is easier to do. In addition, the composition is more than a conventional foam suppressant.
Easier to prepare as a "concentrated" composition because it omits most
It
In addition, this composition is less expensive to formulate.
Another advantage of the composition of the invention is that it is phase stable.
The term "Guerbet" surfactant as used herein refers to a 2-alkyl-alkano.
It means a branched surfactant derived from acetylene.
Guerbet surfactants are known in the art. DE 41 11 335 Specification
