Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.通信メディア上のデータ量伝送を変化させるためのシステムであって、 少なくとも1つのデータ通信メディアと、 該データ通信メディアを介して、計算されたスケーリングパラメータに基づい た量でデータを伝送するように適応化された少なくとも1つのデータソースと、 該データ通信メディア上で通信されたデータを受信するように適応化された少 なくとも1つのデータコンシューマであって、該データコンシューマは、該デー タ通信メディアを介したデータ伝送のレートを測定しかつ該データコンシューマ の利用度を測定するようにプログラムされ、該データコンシューマは更に、伝送 されたデータの測定値および該データコンシューマの利用度の測定値に基づいて 該スケーリングパラメータを計算するようにプログラムされ、該データコンシュ ーマは更に、該スケーリングパラメータを、通信されるデータ量を変化させる該 データソースに、該データ通信メディアを介して通信するように適応化されてい るデータコンシューマと、 を備えているシステム。 2.前記通信メディアがローカルエリアネットワークを有している請求項1に 記載のシステム。 3.前記通信メディアがワイドエリアネットワークを有し ている請求項1に記載のシステム。 4.前記通信メディアがメモリチャネルを有している請求項1に記載のシステ ム。 5.前記データソースおよび前記データコンシューマが1つのコンピュータに 含まれている請求項1に記載のシステム。 6.前記データソースがファイルサーバを有しており、前記データコンシュー マがワークステーションを有している請求項1に記載のシステム。 7.通信メディア上のデータ量伝送を変化させるためのシステムであって、 少なくとも1つのデータ通信メディアと、 該データ通信メディアを介して、第1のデータを固定量で、および第2のデー タを計算されたスケーリングパラメータに基づいた量で伝送するように適応化さ れた少なくとも1つのデータソースと、 該データ通信メディア上で通信された該第1のデータおよび該第2のデータを 受信するように適応化された少なくとも1つのデータコンシューマであって、該 データコンシューマは、該データ通信メディアを介したデータ伝送のレートを測 定しかつ該データコンシューマの利用度を測定するようにプログラムされ、該デ ータコンシューマは更に、伝送されたデータの測定値および該データコンシュー マの利用度の測定値に基づいて該スケーリングパラメータを計算するようにプロ グラムされ、該データコンシューマは更に、該スケーリング パラメータを、該第2のデータの通信される量を変化させる該データソースに、 該データ通信メディアを介して通信するように適応化されているデータコンシュ ーマとを有するシステム。 8.前記第1のデータが音声情報を有している請求項7に記載のシステム。 9.前記第2のデータが映像情報を有している請求項7に記載のシステム。 10.前記第2のデータがJPEG符号化された映像情報を有している請求項7に記 載のシステム。 11.前記第2のデータがイントラ符号化された映像情報を有している請求項7 に記載のシステム。 12.前記データコンシューマが、前記通信メディア上で通信された前記第1の データおよび前記第2のデータを格納するバッファを更に有している請求項7に 記載のシステム。 13.前記データコンシューマが更に、前記計算されたスケーリングパラメータ に応じて前記バッファサイズを変化させるように適応化されている請求項12に記 載のシステム。 14.通信メディア上のデータ量伝送を変化させるためのシステムであって、 少なくとも1つのコンピュータ通信メディアと、 該コンピュータ通信メディアを介して、音声データを固定量で、およびビデオ データを計算されたスケーリングパラメータに基づいた量で伝送するように適応 化された少なくとも 1つのファイルサーバと、 該コンピュータ通信メディア上で通信された該音声データおよび該ビデオデー タを受信するように適応化された少なくとも1つのワークステーションであって 、該ワークステーションは、該コンピュータ通信メディアを介したデータ伝送の レートを測定しかつ該ワークステーションの利用度を測定するようにプログラム され、該ワークステーションは更に、伝送されたデータの測定値および該ワーク ステーションの利用度の測定値に基づいて該スケーリングパラメータを計算する ようにプログラムされ、該ワークステーションは更に、該スケーリングパラメー タを、該ビデオデータの通信される量を変化させる該ファイルサーバに、該コン ピュータ通信メディアを介して通信するように適応化されているワークステーシ ョンとを有するシステム。 15.前記ワークステーションが、前記コンピュータ通信メディア上で通信され た前記音声データおよび前記ビデオデータを格納するメモリバッファを更に有し ている請求項12に記載のシステム。 16.前記データコンシューマが更に、前記計算されたスケーリングパラメータ に応じて前記メモリバッファサイズを変化させるように適応化されている請求項 12に記載のシステム。
