Granular cleaning agent and / or cleaning agent
The present invention provides free-flowing, by appropriate selection of process conditions.
Non-greasy granules free of fines
A method, comprising: a granular cleaning agent having an apparent density of 600 to 1100 g / l;
And / or a method for producing a cleaning agent.
Many known methods have been used to produce compressed granules either discontinuously or continuously.
There is a law. These methods are based on high-speed mixer / granulator (mixer / granulat
or) or a mixer / granulator arranged in series. High speed mixer
Granulation in a granulator is described in European Patent Application Publication (EP-A)
0 351 937 and the same (EP-A) 0 339 996.
Has been done.
High-speed mixer / granulator and low-speed mixer / granulator in series
Is disclosed in European Patent Application Publication (EP-A) 0 420 317 and
(EP-A) 0 390 251. However, this
One feature common to these methods is that the resulting granules have a high apparent density.
, Substantially free of water and / or substantially free of nonionic surfactant.
And / or unless the method is carried out in a particular temperature range
The granules that are formed are easy to cake and have stickiness and become sticky.
That's what it means. Furthermore, the apparent density is adjusted to the required extent to a limited degree.
I can only do it.
In contrast, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to carry out after granulation or spray drying.
Adjusting the apparent density of the cleaning and / or cleaning agents in subsequent processing steps
To be possible, i.e. to be able to specifically increase as needed.
It was
The above problems are associated with a granular cleaning agent having an apparent density of 600 to 1100 g / l.
And / or a method for producing a cleaning agent, the method comprising:
(A) a basic granule containing no bleach and substantially no nonionic surfactant,
Most
Manufactured by granulation and / or spray drying in the first step,
(B) In the mixer / granulator, while the energy is being input,
Mixing base granules with bleach and nonionic surfactants in process step 1
And
(C) In the second processing stage, the bleach activator and, if necessary, other components are removed.
Mix continuously
It has been solved by a method comprising:
Therefore, the apparent density of the granular detergent and / or cleaning agent is 600 to 110.
The final and selective adjustment to a value of 0 g / l is in the first process step (b)
Energy input when mixing base granules with bleach and nonionic surfactants.
It is carried out by force and is carried out during granulation in the first treatment step (a).
It is not done.
Bleach-free and substantially nonionic surfactant-based base granules are known
It can be manufactured by the method of. Therefore, in the processing stage (b)
The granules to be pressed are themselves per se in the prior art, for example spray drying or granulation.
It can be obtained as is known.
For the purposes of the present invention, basic granules substantially free of nonionic surfactants mean
It is understood to be a base granulate that does not contain any amount of nonionic surfactant. Only
However, for example, a small amount of nonionic boundaries used as a stabilizer for zeolites, etc.
The surface-active agent may already be present in the base granulate. In the basic granular material
The content of nonionic surfactants, especially ethoxylated fatty alcohols, is based on the basic granulate.
On the other hand, generally not more than 3% by weight, preferably not more than 2% by weight, more preferably
Not exceed 1% by weight. However, the main amount of nonionic surfactant is
According to the invention, it is incorporated into the base granulate in process step (b) of
Is especially important.
A preferred low speed mixer / granulator for use in making the base granulate is
Commercial plowshare mixer or intensive mix
er). Granulation is generally performed for a time of 0.5 to 10 minutes, and the average residence time is 1 to
6 minutes
In between. The moist granules obtained in this way have an odor
It can be dried. Coarse fractions (particles with size> 1.6 mm) for sieving
Therefore, after removing and returning to the sieve in a crushed form, the anionic surfactant, builder,
Polymeric carboxylate, water glass and water typical tower powder (to
wer powder) mixture, bleach-free and substantially nonionic surfactant
A base granulate with a density of 600 to 900 g / l is obtained from the unmixed mixture.
.
In a low speed mixer / granulator, eg a plow blade mixer, the basic granular
Careful mixing of bleach with bleach and nonionic surfactants for a short period of time will result in flow characteristics.
And a greasy product having an apparent density of 600-650 g / l
Obtained in the first processing stage. However, the same mixer / granule
The mixing time in the machine was increased considerably and the cutter head was added.
When used in addition, the apparent density is
A clear increase to 850 g / l. The corresponding increase in apparent density is faster
It can also be obtained by inputting comparable energy in the mixer. Surprise
Remarkably, in both methods a dry, easy-to-use stream with a wide particle size distribution is used.
A motile product was obtained. Mix the above low-speed mixer / granulator /
It can be advantageously used as a granulator.
Granules containing bleaching agent and nonionic surfactant in the second processing stage
Bleach activator and optionally other ingredients such as
Add perfume ingredients and enzymes. Liquid components should be granulated by atomization, paying particular attention.
It can be applied to things. By adding perfume ingredients especially in this step,
The product is also free of fines.
The process according to the invention for producing a granular cleaning and / or cleaning agent, in particular
In the first processing stage after the previous granulation or spray drying, bleach and
Depending on the method of delaying addition of nonionic surfactant, the range of 600-1100 g / l
It can be adjusted to any desired apparent density at a very late stage of the process.
Noh.
The precise adjustment of the apparent density can be achieved, for example, by inputting energy into the granulated mixture.
Long dwell time as well as the number of cutter heads used
And depending on the rotation speed, a large energy input can be achieved. Big
High-speed mixer / high-speed mixing tool in granulator
It can also be achieved with a relatively short residence time by means. Corresponding to this
With higher energy input, heavier particles are obtained. In addition,
Adjust apparent density at least slightly by choosing the temperature applied during
You can also. Therefore, changing the temperature of the base particles as they enter the processing stage.
By changing the apparent density in the range of 30-80g / l, especially 60g / l
I know I will get it.
According to the invention, a low apparent density of eg 300 g / l to 900 g / l, in particular 60
Granules with a relatively high apparent density of 0 to 850 g / l or up to eg 100 g / l
Objects can be configured (made compact). Therefore, at the processing stage
The corresponding base granules with bleach and a major amount of nonionic surfactant.
The required apparent density can be established.
Bleach and nonionic surfactants when using high apparent density base granules
By itself, the addition of
Results in a greasy product with poor flow properties, but energy
During mixing with input, the product undergoes a marked increase in apparent density.
