A conventional method when it is desirable to make certain parts or areas of certain objects clearly distinguishable from the background is to illuminate these objects with substantially intense visible light. The objects to be clearly visualized are also painted in strongly distinguishable colors, or such colors are mixed into the objects. However, since the external environment is more predominant, it cannot be said that the conventional visible light is effectively and sufficiently irradiated to the object through the medium, and the visible light reaches the observer from the object. It is hard to say. Such a situation may occur in a natural environment, e.g., where the irradiation of visible light through the open air is weakened, e.g. in the rain or in the fog, or in an enclosed space in which the open air is saturated with liquid or solid particles, for example. Often happens. The solution is to use, instead of visible light, light irradiation in the UV range of about 350-400 nm and to add an additive having fluorescence in UV light during the production of the object to be visualized. Is to use. In this way, a given object can be very well distinguishable from its background and / or from other surrounding objects. The use of plastics in exterior and interior spaces is continuously increasing. Therefore, there is a need for plastics and corresponding materials that have improved visibility in UV light. According to this invention, it has been observed that various plastic materials become fluorescent in UV light by adding a small amount of certain fractions obtained from crude oil to the material. Such rubbers, polymers, resins or similar materials containing fluorescent materials according to this invention are obtained at 350-400 ° C. during distillation of them and crude oil as a fluorescent additive. It is characterized by mixing fractions, ie fractions containing aromatic and naphthenic compounds as main constituents. This fraction is so-called heavy vacuum gas oil or HVGO. This oil fraction may be a slightly heavier fraction than HVGO, for example the flux oil for blowing used in the oxidation of bitumen. When the object to be irradiated is a rubber, polymer, resin or other corresponding type of material, such material and the fractions distilled at a high temperature of about 350-400 ° C. for distillation of crude oil. That is, it is possible to mix with a fraction that contains a large amount of aromatic compound but does not contain asphaltene compound or that contains a very small amount. The rubber, polymer, resin or corresponding material may be any of this type which can be mixed with the fluorescent crude oil fraction. It may be a natural or synthetic polymer, where many other additives are mixed depending on the desired application. The material may be wholly formed of the plastic materials mentioned above, or its suitable base part or frame structure may be made of other materials, for example to ensure mechanical strength and / or synthesis. It may be wood, metal, various polymers, glass, or various ceramic materials, and this base part or base or frame may be coated with fluorescent rubber, fluorescent resin, fluorescent polymer or the like. . The polymer may be, for example, a polyolefin such as polyethylene, polypropylene or a mixed polyolefin of various olefins, or a polymer of styrene, vinyl chloride or various other monomers, such polymers being rubber-like, ie elastomers. It may have the characteristics of Many natural resins and macromolecules such as cellulose derivatives, natural rubber, starch derivatives and the like can be used. Fluorescent oily additives need to be mixed with macromolecular substances in only small amounts so that their thorough mixing and the parts, packaging and coatings obtained therefrom are fluorescent to UV light. There is. The amount to be mixed is 0.01 to 10%, preferably 1% or more. At such an addition amount, the other properties of the polymer or the corresponding material are not substantially changed, and the part manufactured from the material containing the additive is the same as the material containing no additive. It can be used for the same purpose. Typical objects that are fluorescent to UV light are lane markings, road markings, traffic signs, signposts, curbs, curb markings, and many types of roadside devices and markings. In addition, fluorescent materials are used in buoys and safety belts to enhance safety while driving. UV irradiation in poor visibility conditions, such as in fog and rain, is advantageous over irradiation with visible light. The packaging of the dangerous goods is preferably made of fluorescent plastic, in which case, for example, in the event of a fire, the packaging can be quickly recognized and quickly removed from the fire area. When it is important to maintain night visibility, switches and scales made of fluorescent materials are illuminated with UV light without diminishing the night adaptation of the eyes, such as in ship and aircraft cockpits. . The operation of the present invention will be described below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to the mixture and the object of which the use of the fluorescent additive is mentioned in the examples. Example 1 A flux oil (Flux oi1) having a viscosity of 85 mm 2 / s at 50 ° C. was mixed with EVA polymer B-5028 (copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol, manufactured by Nestoy Co.) at 0.1%. Mixed in proportion. A sheet was formed from the mixture. The sheet was illuminated with a 160 W Claude Mixopal UV lamp. The mixture was fluorescent, however, other properties of the mixture were substantially unchanged. Example 2 An HVGO type oil fraction was melt mixed with a polyethylene plastic NCPE2224 (manufactured by Nestoy) in a proportion of 0.1%. The material was compression molded into sheets. The sheet was fluorescent in UV light. The UV lamp was a 160 W Claude Mixopal UV lamp with a wavelength of 350 to 400 nm. Example 3 An oil fraction of HVGO type was melt mixed with polystyrene plastic SP453 (manufactured by Nesteoy) in a proportion of 0.1%. A sheet that was compression molded from that material fluoresces strongly with a Claude Mixopal lamp. Example 4 An HVGO type oil fraction was melt mixed with a styrene-butadiene-styrene elastomer Vector 2411D (manufactured by Dexco Inc.) in a proportion of 0.1%. A sheet compression molded from the material fluoresces with a Claude Mixopal lamp. The fluorescence developed in the above example was white. The plastic material according to the invention, in which no additives were mixed, was not identifiable by UV light.
