In the washing apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention, the washing machine is arranged inside the rotary drum in which the axis of the cylinder is arranged in the horizontal direction, sequentially from the lower end and from the position in contact with the front inner peripheral surface of the cylinder. The fabric is placed over the entire length in the front-rear direction up to the position where it comes into contact with the side inner peripheral surface, folded back at the front end and the rear end, and set so as to be folded up and down. At that time, insert a separator at the folded end. In this way, the piece of cloth that is folded back and set is fully arranged in the front-rear direction of the rotary drum, and is held by the separators on both sides of the folding end, so that the movement in the front-rear direction is restricted. Further, since the length of the separator is set to be slightly smaller than the total length of the rotary drum and the separator is arranged in parallel with the rotation axis of the drum, the lateral movement of the piece is also restricted. As a result, the piece of cloth is continuously folded and held in a folded state, and rotates in unison with the rotation of the rotating drum. No friction is caused by collision with, and it is possible to eliminate the scratches and straight breaks that have been generated conventionally.

According to the separator of the second aspect, elasticity is imparted so that the separator can be deformed and restored.
It does not damage the cloth by deforming with the cloth while rotating.
Moreover, because it restores to the original state, it suppresses the behavior of the cloth,
It is possible to return a piece of cloth to the set state. Further, since the required buoyancy is applied, it is possible to rotate the rotary drum integrally with the rotary drum without sinking the cloth in the lower portion.

As is apparent from the above description, in the device provided with the separator according to the first aspect of the present invention, the fabric that is folded back inside the rotary drum by the separator and is set in the longitudinal direction and the long length. Since the movement is suppressed in both the vertical direction, when it rotates together with the rotation of the rotating drum, it entangles, bends, breaks, collides with other parts and the inner peripheral surface of the drum, causing friction. It is possible to eliminate the scratches and straight breaks that have occurred in the past. Therefore, in the washed fabric, the portion that must be cut due to scratches or straight breaks can be eliminated or dramatically reduced, and the productivity can be improved.

When the separator according to claim 2 is used,
Since it can be deformed and restored by giving elasticity, it follows the movement of the cloth when it is about to deform during rotation so that it does not damage and damages it. By suppressing, it is possible to return the piece to the set state. Further, since the required buoyancy is applied, the piece of cloth is not sunk in the lower part of the rotary drum, the piece of cloth can be rotated integrally with the rotary drum, and the problem due to the installation of the separator can be eliminated. The above-mentioned separator has an extremely simple structure and can be obtained at low cost. Moreover, since it is not necessary to improve the rotating drum side, it can be easily implemented and has great practical value.

When the diameter of each separator is 5% to 15% of the inner diameter of the rotary drum, the separator does not take up a large space and the piece can be regulated with a required force. . Further, if the length of the separator is made slightly shorter than the length in the axial direction of the inside of the rotary drum to make the length substantially the entire length, as described above, the behavior of the piece of cloth in the axial direction can be suppressed. Further, as described in claim 4, about 5 to 30 separators are preferably used because of the correlation between the diameter of the separator and the diameter of the rotating drum. These separators are preferably inserted into the folded end of the piece of cloth, but when the diameter of the rotating drum is large, it may be set in the middle between the front and rear ends, and the separator allows the piece of cloth to be wrinkle-free and uniform. It suffices if the surface condition can be revealed.
