An absorbent main body formed by a liquid-permeable front material, a liquid-impermeable back material, and an absorbent body disposed therebetween, and a stretchable elastic member provided in an opening around a leg. A pants-type disposable diaper having an outer sheath member and an elastic elastic ribbon around the waist, and the elastic ribbon covers both end edges in a longitudinal direction when the diaper body is unfolded so as to sandwich the both end edges.
