Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the temp. elevation in a display device without impairing its aesthetic appearance and to prevent the infiltration of water, such as rainy, by fixing a translucent panel and forming spaces vertically continuous in the flank parts of struts. CONSTITUTION: This display device has guide rails 6a, 6b for holding the translucent panel 5 attachably and detachably by laterally sliding the panel, a pair of the right and left struts 1 having vent holes 15, 17 and wiring holes 12 to 14 in the flank parts for fixing these guide rails 6a, 6b and strut flank covers 16 for covering the flank parts of the struts 1. The translucent panel 5 is fixed and the spaces vertically continuous are formed In the flank parts of the struts 1. These spaces are formed as air discharge and drain routes, thereby, the temp. elevation in the display device is prevented and the infiltration of the rain at the time of the rain entailing strong wind is prevented without impairing the aesthetic beauty of the display device. Since the spaces are usable as the wiring routes of electric systems, the wirings heretofore drawn around intricately around fluorescent lamps, display driving circuit sections, etc., are decreased.

2. Description of the Related Art A display device is often used outdoors because of its function of displaying and providing information to an unspecified number of people.
The display device is generally formed in a closed structure in order to prevent insects and water from entering. An LED panel in which a plurality of LEDs are arranged in a matrix in the vertical and horizontal directions must always display under natural light, and has good display visibility in the brightness of natural light that changes momentarily throughout the day. In order to ensure the brightness, the brightness around the display device is detected by the illuminance sensor, and the brightness of the LED is reduced when the surroundings are dark, and the brightness is LE when the surroundings are bright.
The display visibility is improved by increasing the brightness of D.
The LED panel, which displays information by blinking and driving a large number of LEDs, generates heat because it uses a large amount of electric power, and particularly when sunlight is directly projected on the LEDs, the LEDs emit light with maximum brightness. Therefore, heat of sunlight is added to heat generated by the LED itself, and the LED reaches a very high temperature.
Therefore, the element of the LED may be damaged. Further, since the display device is formed in a hermetically sealed structure, the heat generated by the LED and the heat radiation of sunlight may not catch up, and the display device may not operate normally. Therefore, in order to prevent the temperature rise in the display device, an armor-type ventilation hole is provided on the side surface of the display device, or a ventilation hole or a fan is provided on the bottom surface in order to circulate the air inside the display device in consideration of the intrusion of water such as rain. In addition, drive circuits and LEDs that minimize heat generation in LED panels have been developed. Further, in a display device having a plurality of display means using a fluorescent lamp as an LED panel or a backlight, wirings of power supply lines and signal lines inside the display device are complicatedly routed around the LED panel, the display drive circuit section and the like. .

In such a conventional display device, an armor type ventilation hole is provided in the side surface portion of the display device, a ventilation hole or a fan is provided in the bottom surface portion, and driving for minimizing heat generation in the LED panel is performed. LED in the development of circuits and LEDs
It can be said that there is sufficient means for preventing the temperature rise in the display device due to the heat generation and heat of sunlight. However, as measures against water such as rain to prevent water from entering, the ventilation holes on the side surface of the display device are used as armor-type ventilation holes, but when the rain is accompanied by strong wind, the rain that is wound up by the wind is armored. It has penetrated from below the mold vent hole. Therefore, the electric system of the display device often causes a failure. In addition, the wiring inside the display device is complicatedly routed around the fluorescent lamp, display drive circuit section, etc.
There is also a problem that operations such as replacement cannot be performed easily. INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention prevents a temperature rise in a display device and prevents water such as rain from entering without impairing the aesthetics of a display device having a plurality of display units vertically on a front side or front / back side between a pair of left and right columns. At the same time, it is an object of the present invention to provide a display device capable of easily attaching, inspecting, and replacing a fluorescent lamp or the like during maintenance.

According to the present invention, the column side covers are provided on the side portions of the pair of left and right columns to form a vertically continuous space, and the space is used as an exhaust / drain path to impair the appearance of the display device. Without being able to prevent temperature rise in the display device and to prevent rain from entering by being winded up by the wind when it is raining with strong wind, it can be used as an electrical system wiring route at the same time as an exhaust / drain route and is complicated. It is possible to reduce the wiring that has been routed around the fluorescent lamp / display drive circuit section, etc., and also to remove the side cover of the support column so that the translucent panel can be slid so that the fluorescent lamp can be used during maintenance. It is possible to easily perform work such as mounting, checking, and replacing.

According to the present invention, a vertical side-to-side continuous space is formed by providing the side wall portions of the pair of right and left columns with a vertical side wall cover, and this space is used as an exhaust / drain path to improve the appearance of the display device. Because it can prevent the temperature rise in the display device and prevent the rain from invading by the wind when it is raining with strong wind without damaging it, and it can be used as an electrical system wiring route at the same time as the exhaust / drain route. It is possible to reduce the wiring that has been complicatedly routed around the fluorescent lamp / display drive circuit, etc., and at the time of maintenance because the translucent panel can be slid by removing only one side of the pillar side cover. Work such as mounting, inspection, and replacement of fluorescent lamps can be easily performed.
