However, when the brush bristles 1 of the upper and lower cleaning brushes 3 are strongly pressed against the glass plate 4, the glass plate 4 is transferred in a wavy curve as shown in FIG. Bending stress is applied to the thin glass plate 4, and in particular, in the case of the thin glass plate 4, the bending becomes remarkable and the damage may occur. When compared with the former cleaning device shown in FIG. 6, when the same number of cleaning brushes 3 located above and the cleaning brushes 3 located below are arranged to obtain the same cleaning effect, the latter shown in FIG. In the above cleaning device, the length of the glass plate 4 along the transfer direction needs to be doubled, which makes it difficult to effectively use the installation space.

According to the present invention, one cleaning brush in which annular bristle-implanted portions are concentrically arranged at a predetermined interval and a pair of the cleaning brushes are paired with each other and are positioned between the annular bristle-implanted portions of the one cleaning brush. Since it is composed of the other cleaning brush in which the ring-shaped bristles are arranged concentrically, when both cleaning brushes are arranged facing each other, the ring-shaped bristled part of one cleaning brush is the ring-shaped bristled part of the other cleaning brush. It is possible to easily form an overlapped state by interposing each other. This makes it possible to strongly press the brush bristles of the cleaning brush against the glass plate that is horizontally transferred between both cleaning brushes.
