Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a head shield with which even a person, other than an expert, can use a portable radio telephone in safety by setting the head shield between the head part and the transmission antenna of the portable radio telephone transmitting a radio wave within a specified distance from the head part. CONSTITUTION:The radio wave shield 200 made of aluminum foil is set between the head part and the transmission antenna of a portable radio wave telephone transmitting a radio wave within 50 cm from the head part. The shield 200 is bonded to the inside of a cap 201 and intensively protecting the upper part 201a of ear opposing the antenna directly. This structure protects the head part against direct attack of radio wave radiated within a point-blank range thus protecting the head part of a user against the danger of tumor, or the like.

2. Description of the Related Art In the past, radio transmitters were handled only by professional engineers, so the danger of being exposed to radio waves at close range was well recognized. Dangerous acts such as standing for a short time have been voluntarily avoided, but due to the widespread use of wireless telephones, it has become possible for someone other than an expert to handle the transmitter. There is a risk of dangerous usage such as being in close contact with and being used for a long time.
