2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, due to the technical progress of color copiers, banknotes that are supposed to have advanced anti-counterfeiting measures,
Counterfeit goods such as gift certificates, invitation tickets, and cards are now on the market, which has become a social problem. As a countermeasure against counterfeiting by this color copy, until now, finer characters (300μ) than the scanning accuracy (400DPI) of color copy have been used.
(a size of about m), that is, a method of printing fine characters that exceed the resolving power of the copier and checking the fine characters with a magnifying glass to determine whether they are true or false. A method has been used in which printing is performed in advance with a transparent fluorescent ink that emits fluorescence upon irradiation, and then black-light is applied to the transparent fluorescent ink to make a true / false judgment. Another method is to print a copy restraint pattern that combines halftone dots of a size that can be resolved by a color copier and halftone dots that cannot be resolved, and then display a restraint pattern such as warning characters when copying. It is used.

However, in the method of using fine characters or colorless fluorescent ink which has been conventionally used,
You have to use a magnifying glass or a black light to distinguish between genuine and color copy.
Without using such equipment, anyone can visually check
It was difficult to judge easily. Moreover, when a printed matter having a copy restraint pattern is copied, the potentially hidden warning characters and patterns become apparent, and it is possible to easily visually identify the copy, that is, the counterfeit pattern function. The printing of the printed matter that is carried requires advanced plate making and printing technology to control the thickening and thinning of halftone dots,
There is a problem that the printing cost becomes high. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and it is possible to make a genuine / counterfeit judgment between a genuine article and a fake article only by visual observation without using a special instrument or device,
Moreover, it is an object of the present invention to provide a printed matter having an anti-counterfeiting effect that can be easily printed by the conventional printing method.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. Generally, the color reproduction range of each of the printing ink and the three primary color toners in the case of color copying is shown by a CIExy chromaticity diagram as shown in FIG. 1, and the printing ink color reproduction range shown by a solid line is shown by a dotted line. Wider than the color reproduction range of color toner. Therefore, if an ink out of the color reproduction range of the color toner is used as the special color, it is possible to discriminate the printed matter or the copied matter only by comparing the special colors. The more distant the positions in the chromaticity diagram are, the easier the discrimination becomes. However, since the distance in this figure is not necessarily proportional to the sensual color difference, it may be displayed in a UCS chromaticity diagram converted so as to approximate the proportional relationship.

In the present invention, the effect is further enhanced by using the colored fluorescent ink as the special color ink. In general, the color of the colored fluorescent ink is a printed matter that exhibits an extremely clear color mainly due to the addition of fluorescent light emitted by excitation light of 400 nm. It has a hue that is somewhat different from the component color itself due to the fluorescent component that emits fluorescence in the same color system as the component color that is excited by visible light. However, the color copy scanner cannot capture the fluorescent emission component, and thus the reproduced hue is only the component color. This is related to the fact that fluorescence emission has a delay time with respect to excitation light irradiation. Fig. 2 shows the spectral reflectances of ordinary orange ink and fluorescent orange ink (using the fluorescent ink base of Dayglow Co.), and the ordinary orange color shown by the solid line can be reproduced approximately in a copy. However, it is not possible to reproduce a clear color with extremely high reflectance due to the fluorescent color such as the fluorescent orange indicated by the dotted line. The larger the reproduction gap is, the easier it is for the present invention to use the special color ink. However, among the fluorescent inks, colored fluorescent inks of sunset yellow, orange yellow, and light green are effective, and not only the sharpness but also the different hue in the copy. Will change to.

FIG. 3 is a layout diagram of an embodiment of a printed matter according to the present invention. This printed matter 10 is an invitation letter to an event, and a symbol mark of the event is arranged after the event name 1, and this is printed as a specific pattern 2 using solid color ink. The specific pattern 2 does not necessarily have to be a mark or logo, but may be a character or a part of the background 3. However, it is desirable that the print is printed at a position that is easily visible at first glance. When this printed matter 10 is copied by a color copier, the printed matter looks like the real printed matter 10 at first glance, but when the particular pattern 2 is focused on, the difference between the two becomes clear visually. That is, the sharpness of the specific pattern 2 of the real printed matter is lost, and the hue appears to change. This color difference determination can be easily and reliably performed simply by visually arranging the printed matter 10 (genuine) and the copied matter (counterfeit) side by side. Also, if the copied matter is seen with the eyes familiar with the printed matter 10, the abnormality is still abnormal. I notice that. In this way, even without using a magnifying glass or black light, it is possible to distinguish between genuine and counterfeit by simple visual inspection with almost no individual difference, and the feature that provides a means of identification is at the level of conventional printing technology. Since printing is possible, the printed matter according to the present invention does not cause an increase in cost,
It can be widely applied to invitation tickets, entrance tickets, gift certificates, etc. As a printing method of the printed matter according to the present invention, known printing methods such as offset, gravure, silk screen, letterpress can be used.

(Example 1) As a special color of a printed matter according to the present invention, 123U (yellow) was selected from a pantone color sample book, and this was used by Canon Pixel Dio (CLC50).
0), color copying was performed, and the chromaticity of the printed matter and the copied matter was measured with a colorimeter (CR-321 manufactured by Minolta). The following numerical values were obtained. As you can see from this number,
The color of the print is outside the color reproduction range of the color copy. In addition, 90 pieces of invitation tickets in which the specific pattern was offset-printed in the above-mentioned color of the pantone color sample book were prepared, and 10 pieces of the invitation tickets copied under the same conditions as in Example 1 were mixed into the total of 100 pieces. When 10 panelists visually extracted a copy under natural light, 98% to 1
It was possible to extract or identify with an accuracy of 00%. As a comparative example, the same test was performed using a green printing ink having a color saturation within the color reproduction range of a color copy and the chroma was not so high, and the identification accuracy was 20% to 50%. (Example 2) Same as Example 1 using an invitation ticket in which a special pattern is offset printed with the orange fluorescent ink NS fluorescent orange yellow, sunset yellow, light green of The Inktech Co., Ltd. As a result of the discrimination test, the discrimination accuracy is 10 for each color.
It was 0%.

As described above, the printed matter according to the present invention uses the special color ink having the chromaticity located outside the color reproduction range indicated by the chromaticity coordinates of the three primary color toners of the copy, and the colored fluorescence accompanied by the fluorescent color. Although ink is used, it is also effective to combine the present invention with other anti-counterfeit means if the manufacturing cost is allowed. For example, a double forgery prevention measure such as printing a part of the invitation ticket as shown in FIG. 3 with fine characters exceeding the resolution of the copying machine, or printing a check pattern on the entire back 3 It is more effective if you take

The printed matter according to the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, the specific pattern does not necessarily have to be a solid block pattern and may have continuous gradation. Further, the fluorescent ink used for the special color is not limited to orange, yellow and green inks, and blue and pink inks may be used.

According to the printed matter of the present invention, the specific pattern in the printed matter is printed by using the special color ink having the chromaticity located outside the color reproduction area shown on the chromaticity coordinates of the color copying machine. By setting it, the printed matter and the copied matter by the color copying machine can be visually identified. Further, by using the colored fluorescent ink for the specific pattern, the color definition and the hue of the printed matter and the copied matter are considerably different from each other, and it becomes extremely easy to distinguish the genuine article from the counterfeit article only by visual inspection. Therefore, in any case, as a result, there is an anti-counterfeiting effect.
