Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an efficient and economical deodorizer capable of controlling the deodorant to the water content just right to permeate air in the deodorizer using soil, etc., as the deodorant and adsorbing a malodorous component on the soil, etc., for deodorization. CONSTITUTION: This deodorizer consists of a deodorization vessel 1 with a gas inlet 10 formed in a closed top wall 8, perforated plates 11a and 11b to vertically divide the inside of the vessel 1 in plural stages and the beds 12a and 12b of a deodorant consisting of soil or bark formed on the perforated plates. Further, air layers 13a, 13b and 13c are formed respectively between the beds 12a and 12b, between the uppermost bed and top wall and between the lowermost bed and bottom wall, and a gas discharge passage 14 is furnished and is made to communicate with the lowermost air layer 13c. A malodorous gas introduced from the inlet 10 is passed downward through the beds 12a and 12b, hence the excess moisture is removed, the gas is deodorized, and the deodorized gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the passage 14.

The odorous gas generated from the fermentation tank 6 is guided by a blower 7 through a conduit 8 to a main pipe 2 and a gas ejection pipe 3 provided in the lower portion of the deodorization tank 1, and a gas ejection port 3a of the ejection pipe 3 is introduced. It is ejected through the crushed stone layer 4. The odorous gas ejected into the crushed stone layer 4 rises in the black soil layer 5 and is exhausted from the upper portion thereof, while the odorous components in the gas are adsorbed by the black soil layer 5. The adsorbed odor component is processed as a nutrient source for microorganisms existing in the soil.

The above-mentioned conventional soil deodorizing device has the following problems. The odorous gas generated from the fermentation tank 6 contains a large amount of steam due to the heat generated in the fermentation process of food waste. Therefore, the black soil layer 5
The lower part of the water absorbs the water vapor in the odorous gas containing a large amount of water vapor, which is blown into the black soil layer 5 through the crushed stone layer 4, and becomes a wet state containing a large amount of water. as a result,
In the lower part of the black soil layer 5, the air permeability is deteriorated, and the habitat of microorganisms in the soil is in an anaerobic state.

In the deodorization of soil, it is necessary to control the soil to have a moisture content of about 30% with good air permeability for efficient deodorization. However, in the conventional device, as described above, the lower part of the black soil layer 5 is in a wet state containing a large amount of water, and the upper part of the deodorizing tank 1 is open, so that the soil water content is reduced due to rainfall. Is too much, and when it is fine, water evaporates and becomes too small.
The soil is not easy to manage, which necessitates soil agitation work several times a year.

Microorganisms in soil require a acclimation period of about 1 to 3 weeks until their habitat is adjusted, and the deodorizing effect cannot be expected within this acclimation period. Therefore, it is necessary for the soil to have a sufficient capacity to adsorb odor, an environment in which microorganisms live, and a backup for deodorization during acclimation of microorganisms.

According to the present invention, the odorous gas blown into the uppermost air layer from the gas inlet provided on the top wall passes downward from the uppermost air layer through the plural deodorizing layers. In the meantime, first, excess water in the odorous gas is removed in the uppermost deodorizing layer, and then, deodorization is performed in the second deodorizing layer, and then the air is diffused into the atmosphere. In this way, the odorous gas passes downward as a downward flow in the deodorizing layers in a plurality of stages. Therefore, excess water in the odorous gas is easily adsorbed to the soil, the anaerobic state due to an increase in water in the soil disappears, and the habitat of microorganisms is adjusted.

As described above, according to the present invention,
The odorous gas blown into the deodorizing tank 1 through the gas inlet 10 provided on the top wall 8 of the deodorizing tank 1 passes downward in the first-stage deodorizing layer 12a and the second-stage deodorizing layer 12b. During that time, excess moisture in the gas is removed, and efficient deodorization can be performed. Therefore, the soil or bark as a deodorant can be easily controlled to a moisture content with good air permeability, and the deodorant can be efficiently and economically deodorized without requiring stirring work of these deodorants. There are industrially useful effects that can be achieved.

A deodorizing tank having an upper end closed by a top wall, a gas inlet for introducing an odorous gas into the deodorizing tank provided on the top wall, and a predetermined vertical direction in the deodorizing tank. A horizontal perforated plate that is divided into a plurality of stages at intervals, and a plurality of soil or bark formed on the plurality of stages of perforated plates with a predetermined gap between the upper perforated plate and the top wall. A deodorizing layer of a step, each of the deodorizing layers of the plurality of steps, an air layer formed between the uppermost deodorizing layer and the top wall, and between the lowermost deodorizing layer and the bottom wall, and the bottom air An upper part of the odorous gas blown into the uppermost air layer from a gas inlet provided in the top wall, which is provided so as to communicate with the layer, and whose upper part is a vertical gas discharge path protruding from the top wall. While passing downward in the deodorizing layers of the plurality of stages from the uppermost air layer, Is in retained water is removed and deodorizing, the deodorizing apparatus characterized by being adapted to be dissipated to the atmosphere through the gas discharge passage from the bottom air layer.
