Abstract

PURPOSE: To perfectly eliminate a needle thrusting accident and to perform incineration treatment in the same way as other combustible waste refuse by constituting an appliance of the hollow cylinder connected to the suction port of a syringe, the hollow pipe provided to the upper part of the hollow cylinder and the cap covering both of them and producing the same from a combustible material. CONSTITUTION: An appliance used when a medical fluid is sucked by a syringe is constituted of the hollow cylinder 1 connected to the suction port of the syringe, the hollow pipe 2 provided to the upper part of the hollow cylinder 1 and a detachable cap 3 keeping the hollow pipe 2 aseptic and facilitating handling. All of them are produced from a combustible resin or plastic or a biodegradable material. As a result, it is unnecessary to sharpen the tip of the hollow pipe used herein like an injection needle and there is no danger piercing the skin at all. Further, work procedure is perfectly same to that in a case using an injection needle and work can be easily performed without anxiety.

However, this has the following drawbacks. (B) Risk of accidental needle sticks ...
It is dangerous because it may lead to needle stick accidents by medical staff. When a medical worker has a wound on his / her fingertip, hepatitis B, AIDS, or other infectious disease may be caused via the patient's blood. Also,
The hand injury caused by a needle stick accident is very painful, so
It will hinder the work of medical staff such as doctors and nurses who need to wash their hands dozens of times daily. (B) Increasing medical waste: Increasing medical waste is one of the most serious social problems facing modern society. Among them, used needles are extremely dangerous, difficult to handle and handle, and are very troublesome. However, in hospitals, when a drug solution is sucked into a syringe, a thick needle (18G needle) that is easy to suck is used, and when actually injecting into a patient, it is purposely replaced with a thin needle (21-25G needle). It is normal. In other words, a thick injection needle (18G needle) is often used simply as a straw for sucking a drug solution,
It has been used as a medical waste only after being used for suctioning the drug solution only once. Thus, the use of two injection needles for one injection leads to not only an increase in medical waste but also an increase in medical cost. (C) Work efficiency is poor ・ It is difficult to work quickly because there is always the danger of needle stick accidents when sucking the drug solution with an injection needle. It is a difficult task even for young nurses to safely and quickly aspirate liquid medicine through the opening of a small ampoule. On the other hand, aging is unavoidably progressing even in medical settings, and it is impossible to demand this from a nurse who has become aware of presbyopia. But,
In hospitals, it is a daily occurrence such as an emergency situation that is competing for time, and it is required that the suction of the drug solution can be completed safely and as quickly as one second. (D) Problems with the injection needle itself ... Originally, the injection needle was designed not for the purpose of sucking the drug solution, but for the purpose of easily penetrating the skin. Since the tip of the injection needle is extremely sharp and is cut sharply and obliquely, the tip of the needle catches on the bottom of the ampoule. Therefore, in order to aspirate all the contents of a small ampoule, it was necessary to carefully tilt the container one by one, which was often inconvenient.

In the present invention, the tip of the hollow tube (2) does not need to be pointed like an injection needle, and therefore there is no risk of piercing the skin. Moreover, the procedure of the work is exactly the same as when using the injection needle, and the work can be performed comfortably and comfortably.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below. (A) A hollow portion (1) connected to the inlet of the syringe,
The hollow tubes (2) are made separately and glued. Or insert (2) into (1). (B) Molding (1) and (2) as one block. (C) Considering (1) and (2) as one lump, and forming a lump into two pieces in the major axis direction, the pieces are bonded together. (D) Match the inner diameter of (1) with the outer diameter of the inlet of the syringe. The outer shape is not limited to a cylinder, but may be a polygonal tube such as a triangle, a quadrangle, or a hexagon. It may be colored so that it can be easily distinguished from the injection needle. (E) The length and the inner diameter of (2) are not limited to the cylindrical shape, and the outer shape may be a polygonal tube such as a triangle, a quadrangle, or a hexagon as long as it is easy to work. The tip does not have to be as sharp as an injection needle. It may be colored so that it can be easily distinguished from the injection needle. (F) (3) may be any one that can be easily attached and detached and is easy to work, and the outer shape may be a polygonal tube such as a triangle, a quadrangle, or a hexagon, instead of a conical tube. It may be colored so that it can be easily distinguished from the injection needle. (G) The present invention may be used by sterilizing it by connecting it to a disposable syringe in advance. With this, after sucking the drug solution, it is possible to inject only by exchanging once with the injection needle.

The following effects are brought about by the present invention. (A) Reduction of needle stick accidents by medical personnel: As long as the device according to the present invention is used, there is no needle stick accident. (B) Reduction of medical waste ・ By making it from incinerable resin, plastic, biodegradable material, etc., it becomes possible to treat it by incineration like other combustible waste. (C) Shortening of work time: Since there is no need to worry about needle sticks, you can work quickly and with peace of mind. (D) Improvement of workability ・ Because the tip of the device is not sharp, it is possible to suction without leaving the chemical liquid without tilting the ampoule greatly. (E) Reduction of medical cost: The present invention has an extremely simple structure as compared with an injection needle, and by supplying a large amount at a low cost, it is possible to contribute to an increase in medical cost reduction.
