Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide fixing structure that can change a bar-supporting guide pipe rapidly according to the diameter of the bar in a device for feeding the bar through a hollow hole provided at the main spindle of a lathe. CONSTITUTION: Supporting collars 8, 18 provided at guide pipes 7, 17 are fixed to bearing seats 1, 11 provided at frames 2, 12. The lower bearing seat 1 and the lower supporting collar 8 are supported by the mutual fitting of circular arc faces, and a pin 3 protrusively provided at the lower bearing seat 1 and a fit-in hole provided at the corresponding part of the lower supporting collar 8 are fitted to each other to perform axial positioning. In the upper bearing seat 11, clamping members 15 protruded inside and sideways are provided at both ends of the circular arc shaped bearing surface 14, and at least one of these clamping members 15 is formed to be fastened by a screw 16 or to be spaced. Step parts 19 to be engaged with the clamping members 15 are formed at both ends of the circular arc shaped periphery of the supporting collar 18. The upper guide pipe 17 is fixed to the bearing seat 11 by fitting the circular arc faces of the collar 18 and upper bearing seat 11 to each other and the step parts 19 by the clamping members 15.

2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 3 schematically shows a state in which a bar 31 is processed by a lathe using a bar feeder. The bar material 31, which is a raw material, is rotatably held by the guide tubes 7 and 17 of the bar material feeding device, and penetrates through the hollow hole 32 of the main shaft to project the tip into the processing area 33 of the lathe. Bar 3
No. 1 is gripped by the chuck 34, and the blade 36 processes the tip portion 37 of the bar material by the rotation of the main shaft 35. When the machining is completed, the machined work is cut off from the tip of the bar with a cutting tool, the chuck 34 is opened, and the pusher 38 moves forward (moves to the right in the figure) to the length required for machining the next work. Only send out the bar. And chuck 34
Grips the tip of the bar again and processes the next work.

The rod 31 must be supported by the guide tubes 7 and 17 so as to be rotatable and axially movable. Normally, oil is supplied to the guide tubes 7 and 17, and
Since a fluid cushion is formed between the bar material 7 and the bar material 31, there is no problem even if there is some play between the guide tubes 7, 17 and the bar material 31, but the diameter of the bar material to be processed is When changing, the guide tubes 7 and 17 also need to be replaced. Further, since the loading of the rod into the guide tubes 7 and 17 is performed from the side of the guide tubes 7 and 17, the guide tubes 7 and 17 are divided into upper and lower halves, and the upper guide tube 17 is lifted and opened. ,
The rod is loaded into the guide tubes 7 and 17.

In order to eliminate the waste of the bar material, the pusher 38
Must be provided with a length commensurate with the length of the main shaft 35.
Since the main shaft 35 needs to be supported by bearings arranged at a certain distance, a pulley for transmitting a rotational force to the main shaft, a cylinder for opening and closing the chuck 34, and the like are arranged. Become. Therefore pusher 38
However, in order to avoid the lengthening of the bar feeding device due to this, as shown in FIG. 4, auxiliary guide tubes 41 and 42 are provided behind the guide tubes 7 and 17, and the auxiliary guide tubes 41 and 42 are provided. The pusher 38 is structured to be lifted together with the upper auxiliary guide tube 42 when the pusher 38 and the driving plate 25 for driving the pusher 38 are separated.

As described above, the guide tubes 7 and 17 need to be replaced according to the diameter of the rod 31 to be supplied, but the arc receiving surface on the frame side that supports the guide tube must be constant. Therefore, the guide tubes 7 and 17 are provided with wide support collars 8 and 18 at a predetermined interval, and the outer circumferences of the support collars have a constant diameter for all the guide tubes, and also to the frames 2 and 12 (lower frame and upper frame). Providing receiving seats 1 and 11 at a predetermined interval, forming an arc receiving surface on the receiving seats 1 and 11 that matches the outer circumference of the guide flanges 8 and 18 of the guide tube, and supporting each supporting flange with the arc receiving surfaces. Thus, the lower guide tube 7 and the upper guide tube 17 are positioned and held.
