CONSTITUTION:There is an indoor unit of an air conditioner which can include a vertical air direction plate 11 provided at a blow outlet for directing vertically fan air into a room and a movable diffuser 13 for rotating frontally a lower part of the blow outlet upon heating operation. The vertical air direction plate 11 is rotated substantially horizontally, and the movable diffuser 13 is kept at a state thereof where it is directed upward as illustrated in the drawing. 運転時には上下風向板11を図2に示すようなほぼ垂直方
向に制御するとともに、可動ディフューザ13を実線で示
された位置まで前向きに回動させて吹出口6を広げ、温
風の降下を促進させるようになっている。
