に動弁カム軸(5)を横向きに配置して、動弁カム軸(5)
の動弁用カム(6)で開閉弁(8)を開閉駆動可能に構成
し、 シリンダヘッド(1)の上面(2)にオイル貯留部(3)を凹
設して、このオイル貯留部(3)に上記動弁用カム(6)を
上から臨ませ、 シリンダヘッド(1)の上面(2)にオイル戻し孔(7)を開
け、このオイル戻し孔(7)を介してヘッドカバー室(4)
をクランク室に連通して、オイル貯留部(3)に貯留した
オイルで動弁用カム(6)を潤滑するとともに、オイル戻
し孔(7)からクランク室にオイルを戻すように構成した
縦型頭上カム式エンジンの動弁用カムの潤滑装置におい
て、 上記オイル戻し孔(7)に遮蔽用庇(10)を上から覆うよ
うに臨ませ、シリンダヘッド(1)の上面(2)にオイル案
内溝(12)を凹設し、オイル貯留部(3)をオイル案内溝
(12)でオイル戻し孔(7)に連通したことを特徴とする
