Abstract

PURPOSE: To inexpensively produce a skin material made of a resin and to prevent the fog value of window glass from becoming high by the obtained skin material. CONSTITUTION: A resin skin material 1 is formed into a two-layered of structure consisting of a first upper skin layer 2 and a second rear skin layer 3. The first and second skin layers 2, 3 are successively formed from the same base material composed of polyvinyl chloride by a powder slush molding method. A phthalic acid type plasticizer is used in the second skin layer 3 and 5-30 pts.wt. of a vinyl acetate resin is compounded based on 100 pts. of polyvinyl chloride.

2. Description of the Related Art A method of forming a two-layered skin material using a powder slush molding method is generally known when molding a skin material such as an automobile interior component with a resin material. That is, a specific method thereof is as follows. A powdery resin material is charged into a skin forming mold to form a first skin layer by powder slush molding, and then a powdery resin material different from the first skin layer is formed thereon. Is charged and powder slush molding is performed to form a second skin layer laminated and integrated with the first skin layer.

By the way, while it is required that the skin material of the instrument panel of the automobile has a good appearance and that the windshield is not fogged during the course of use of the automobile, the manufacturing cost is high. Is also required to be low. As a method to meet such a demand, it is possible to apply a method of performing the powder slush molding a plurality of times. That is, only the upper layer appearing on the surface of the skin material is powder slush-molded by the first resin material that gives a good-looking appearance, and the lower layer not appearing on the surface is powdered by the inexpensive second resin material. It is a method of slush molding.

However, when a low-priced resin material is used, the obtained skin material is apt to cause bleeding of the plasticizer, that is, the windshield of an automobile generally has a high fogging value, which is why the skin material and the There is a problem that the appearance of the windshield becomes worse and the product life becomes shorter.

Means for Solving the Problems and Their Actions As a result of various experiments and studies on such problems, the present inventor found that the lower layer not appearing on the surface of the skin material is a base resin. On the other hand, it was found that the cost can be reduced while avoiding the above-mentioned bleeding problem by mixing an appropriate amount of a specific plasticizer and a resin material, and the present invention has been completed.

That is, the first powder slush molding step is carried out in which a powdery first resin material is put into a heated molding die and welded to the molding surface of the molding die to form a first skin layer. After that, a second powder slush molding step of forming a second skin layer by introducing a powdery second resin material onto the heated first skin layer of the molding die and welding the first skin layer to the first skin layer is performed. A method for producing a resin-made skin material in which the first skin layer and the second skin layer are laminated and integrated by carrying out the method, comprising:
A resin material obtained by mixing polyvinyl chloride with at least one plasticizer selected from trimellitic acid plasticizers and phthalic acid plasticizers is used as the second resin material.
A resin material obtained by mixing phthalic acid plasticizer and vinyl acetate resin in polyvinyl chloride is used, and the compounding amount of the vinyl acetate resin is 5 to 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride of the second resin material. It is characterized by being 30 parts by weight.

A phthalic acid-based plasticizer is used as the plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, which is the base resin for the second skin layer,
Further, the vinyl acetate resin is added because it is advantageous for cost reduction. Then, the amount of the vinyl acetate resin is 5 with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polyvinyl chloride resin.
The amount is up to 30 parts by weight because if it is less than 5 parts by weight, the cost reduction effect is small, and if it is more than 30 parts by weight, the haze value becomes high (the problem of bleeding becomes remarkable). is there.

<Regarding Haze Value> In the second powder flash molding step, a vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride copolymer resin is used as the vinyl acetate resin, and the blending amount is 0 to 35 with respect to 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride. The haze value of the obtained skin material was examined based on the haze value measurement method SAEJ275FEB85 of the American Society of Automotive Engineers, while varying the range of parts by weight. The conditions of the first powder slush molding step and the other conditions of the second powder slush molding step were the same. The test results are shown in Table 1.

According to the table, the haze value is almost the same as when the blending amount of the vinyl acetate resin is up to 20 parts by weight as when the blending amount is zero, and as the blending amount becomes larger than that, the haze value becomes higher. The value tends to increase, and when it exceeds 30 parts by weight, the haze value becomes considerably high (haze increases). From this result, it is understood that it is preferable that the blending amount of the vinyl acetate resin is 30 parts by weight or less.

The appearance, tensile strength, and
Elongation rate, hardness, heat-resistant creep resistance, shrinkage rate, short-term heat resistance, etc. were also examined, but no fact was found that an increase in the blending amount of the vinyl acetate resin adversely affects these properties.
