Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the time for purifying water by composing a sponge filter of a large-pore filter body which has open pores of large porosity and comes into direct contact with a filter pipe and a small-pore filter body which forms the outside layer thereof and has open pores of small porosity. CONSTITUTION: The sponge filter is composed of the large-pore filter body 11 which has the open pores of the large porosity and the small-pore filter body 12 which forms the outside layer thereof and has the open pores of the small porosity. The sponge filter is provided with a communicating hole 14 into which the filter pipe 13 having plural pieces of holes 13b is passed. The sponge filter device is mounted in a water tank. The water passes the small-pore filter body 12 of the outside layer and the large-pore filter body 11 and is introduced into the filter pipe 13 when the water is lifted with air by an air supply pipe 7. The water is returned into the water tank through a water introducing pipe 4. The dust and suspended materials in the water sucked in the process are filtered by the small-pore filter body 12 and stays there. The purified water is introduced through the large-pore filter body 11 to the filter pipe 13 without the occurrence of the clogging.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional water purifying sponge filter device will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 2 is a view showing a state in which the conventional water purification sponge filter device is attached to the aquarium 1 for raising ornamental fish. FIG. 3 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the sponge filter shown in FIG. In the figure, 1 is an aquarium for ornamental fish breeding, 2 is water in an aquarium, 3 is a sponge filter in water 2, 4 is a water introducing pipe, 5 is a filter pipe connected to the water introducing pipe, The sponge filter 3 is attached. 6 is a suction plate for fixing the water introduction pipe 4 to the water tank 1, 7 is an air supply pipe consisting of a pipe main body a1 and air stone a2 for air diffusion, 8 is air from the air pump 9 to the air supply pipe 7. A vinyl hose for sending, 9 is an air pump. The upper end of the filter tube 5 is closed, and a plurality of holes 5a are provided in the side wall at regular intervals in the length direction and the circumferential direction.
When the filter tube 5 is inserted into the hole 3a of the sponge filter 3, the hole 3a and the outer peripheral surface of the filter tube 5 are in close contact with each other. With the above structure, when the air pump 9 is driven, air is diffused from the air stone a2 through the vinyl hose 8 and the air supply pipe 7. Due to the rising force of the air at this time, the water introducing pipe 4
The water inside is pushed up and the water in the aquarium 1 circulates.
In the process, dust and suspended matter in the water tank 1 are filtered by the sponge filter 3, and the water in the water tank 1 is purified by this.

However, in the conventional sponge filter device, since the sponge filter 3 and the filter tube 5 are in close contact with each other and the water 2 can pass through only the hole 5a portion, dust and floating are caused in the hole 5a. Concentration of substances causes clogging, and it takes time to purify water. The present invention has been made to solve such conventional problems, and an object thereof is to provide a water purification sponge filter device capable of shortening the water purification time.

Since the sponge filter is composed of the large-pore filter attached to the filter tube and the small-pore filter forming the outer layer, the sucked water, when passing through the small-pore filter, becomes dusty, The suspended matter is retained there, and the water purified here passes through the large-pore filter body having a higher passage efficiency. Therefore, the plurality of holes provided in the filter tube are guided to the filter tube without causing clogging.

EXAMPLE A sponge filter device for water purification of an example will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a water purification sponge filter device of an embodiment, and is a view corresponding to FIG. 3. In the figure, 11 is a large pore filter having continuous pores having a high porosity, and 12 is a small pore filter having continuous pores having a low porosity forming an outer layer thereof. Both filter bodies 11 and 12 are provided with insertion holes 14 through which the filter tube 13 is inserted. The filter tube 13 is provided with a plurality of holes 13b on its side wall at regular intervals in the length direction and the circumferential direction, and the tip thereof is an opening 13a. An air supply pipe 7 is composed of a pipe body a1 and an air stone a2 for air diffusion. Now, as in the conventional sponge filter device, the sponge filter device of the embodiment is mounted in the water tank 1 shown in FIG. 2, the air pump 9 is driven, and the water is air-lifted. It passes through a small-pore filter body 12 having small continuous pores and a large-pore filter body 11 having continuous pores having a large porosity, is guided to a filter pipe 13, and is introduced into a water introducing pipe
Return to Aquarium 1. In this process, the dust and suspended matter in the sucked water 2 are filtered and stay there, and the purified water is a large hole having continuous pores with high passage efficiency and large porosity. It passes through the filter body 11. Therefore, the openings 13a provided in the filter tube 13 and the plurality of holes 13b in the filter tube 13 are guided to the filter tube 13 without causing clogging. For this reason, the purification time of water can be shortened.
