Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a label for a lead-acid battery by which writing-in to the label can be easily performed even by a pencil and a ball-point pen and the written-in content is not erased by arranging fine recesses-projections on a surface of a protective film of the label. CONSTITUTION: This label for a lead-acid battery is composed of a key sheet 1 where an adhesice 2 is applied to the reverse and a protective film 3 where an adhesive 2 is applied to the reverse, and a surface of the key sheet 1 is coated with the protective film 3. Fine recesses-projections 4 are arranged on a surface of the protective film 3, and the surface is formed in a pear skin shape. A pencil and a ball-point pen do not slip on a surface of the film by these fine recesses-projections, and writing-in can be easily performed. Since graphite and ink enter a recessed part and are held, the written-in content is not erased by wiping-out of the surface.
