Claims (8)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 静電的にトナー像が形成された記録材
を、少なくとも一方に加熱体を内包し互いに圧接して回
転自在に配設された定着ローラと加圧ローラで挟持搬送
し、該記録材及びトナー像を加熱及び加圧して該トナー
像を記録材に定着させる定着装置において、上記定着ロ
ーラ及び加圧ローラの圧接部よりも記録材搬送方向上流
で記録材の一部と接触するように配設された電極と、該
電極にバイアス電圧を印加する手段とを備え、該電極へ
印加されたバイアス電圧による電流が記録材及び上記定
着ローラを介して流れるように、上記定着ローラは接地
されていることを特徴とする定着装置。

該定着装置の圧接部にて挟持搬送しながら加熱及び加圧
して該記録材上のトナー像を定着させて画像を形成する
画像形成装置において、上記定着ローラ及び加圧ローラ
の圧接部よりも記録材搬送方向上流で記録材の一部と接
触するように配設された電極と、該電極にバイアス電圧
を印加する手段とを備え、該電極へ印加されたバイアス
電圧による電流が記録材及び上記定着ローラを介して流
れるように、上記定着ローラは接地されていることを特
徴とする画像形成装置。

と加圧ローラとの圧接部よりも記録材搬送方向上流側で
記録材の一部と接触するように配設された電極と、該電
極にバイアス電圧を印加する手段とを備え、該電極へ印
加されたバイアス電圧による電流が記録材及び上記耐熱
性フィルムを介してに流れるように、上記耐熱性フィル
ムは接地されていることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
