回して形成されたハニカム構造部と該ハニカム構造部の
外周に同軸的に配置され該ハニカム構造部を保持する外
筒とからなるハニカム体の一端面に、該一端面の周縁部
と該周縁部を除く中央部の一部分とに対応する箇所に開
口を有するマスキングを配置し、該マスキングの前記開
口からろう材を注入して前記ハニカム体の周縁部と巻回
されている前記ハニカム構造部の一巻に少なくとも1個
の径方向に隣接する他のハニカム部分にろう材を塗布
し、その後加熱して接合することを特徴とするハニカム
体のろう材塗布方法。1.
