First, a resin-impregnated base paper is spirally wound in three or six layers to make a paper tube b endlessly. The endlessly made paper tube b is dried with a tunnel dryer to form a strong paper tube b. Then, a brush cloth c made of pure bristles or synthetic fibers is wound around and adhered to the paper tube b, and the paper tube b around which the brush cloth c is wound is cut according to the length dimension 1 of the roller body d. A roller handle e is fitted and fixed in the paper tube b of the roller body d to obtain a product.

The manufacturing method of the coating roller a'of FIG. 5 is performed as follows. First, a synthetic resin pipe b'having a predetermined length is cut according to the length dimension 1 of the roller body d '. Then, a brush cloth c longer than the dimension length l of the synthetic resin tube b'is wound and bonded by aligning one end of the brush cloth c with one end of the synthetic resin tube b '. Then, the other end of the brush cloth c protruding from the other end of the synthetic resin tube b'is folded into the other end opening of the above-mentioned synthetic resin tube b ', and the plug f is prevented so that the folded brush cloth c does not return to its original state. Then, the roller handle e is fitted from the one end opening of the synthetic resin pipe b'and fixed to obtain a product.

However, in the method of manufacturing the coating roller a shown in FIG. 4, it is possible to manufacture a plurality of roller bodies d in one step, and the raw material cost is relatively low, but the finished product Since there is no brush cloth c on the end surface of the roller body d in the axial direction, almost no paint can be contained in this portion, so even if the roller body d is rolled along the corner of the wall surface, I can't paint. In addition, the roller handle e must be used from the end face of the synthetic resin pipe b in accordance with the length dimension 1 of the synthetic resin pipe b so that the paint does not enter the inside.

The manufacturing method of the coating roller a'shown in FIG. 5 can be said to be an improvement of the problems of the manufacturing method of the coating roller a shown in FIG. That is, since the coating roller a ′ in FIG. 5 has the brush cloth c on one end surface of the roller body d ′ in the axial direction, the coating material can be sufficiently contained in this portion, and the roller can be formed along the corner of the wall surface. If the body d is rolled, the corners of the wall surface can be easily painted.
Further, the roller handle e'also has a length dimension l of the synthetic resin pipe b '.
Shorter ones are better. However, the synthetic resin pipe b '
Is to be cut in advance to the length dimension 1 of the roller body d ', and a brush cloth c longer than this is wound around and adhered to the synthetic resin tube b', and the brush cloth c is folded into the synthetic resin tube b '. Since a large number of roller bodies d'cannot be manufactured at one time, the number of steps is increased, and the raw materials and parts are expensive, the coating roller a'of FIG. 5 is expensive as a whole.

Therefore, even though there is a brush cloth on one end surface of the pipe, the manufacturing process can be simple and easy, inexpensive raw materials can be used, and the cost can be reduced as a whole. It is an object to provide a method for manufacturing a roller.

A plurality of base papers 1 impregnated with a resin are sequentially wound on the upper surface in a spiral shape to continuously form a paper tube 2. At this time, the base paper 1 is impregnated with a resin in order to impart a predetermined strength and water resistance to the paper tube 2, and the paper tube 2 is usually the base paper 1.
3 to 6 sheets are stacked, and in this embodiment, 4 sheets are stacked. The paper tube 2 thus formed passes through a tunnel type dryer 3, and the resin impregnated in the base paper 1 is dried in the process to become a strong paper tube 2 and water resistance and the like are imparted. It
Then, a brush cloth 4 made of pure bristles, synthetic resin or the like is wound around the paper tube 2 in a spiral shape and adhered. The paper tube 2 to which the brush cloth 4 is adhered is sequentially cut by a cutter 5 to a required length. This cut product is the roll body 6
The resulting roll main body 6 is formed from one end of the roll main body 6 with a drill 7 in a direction of an arrow A, leaving a brush cloth 4 and a small paper tube 2, as shown in FIG. The tube 2 is scraped. Then, the paper tube 2 is scraped to a predetermined position shown in FIG. 2B, and the remaining brush cloth 4 and the slightly remaining paper tube 2 are removed from the inner circumference of the paper tube 2 as shown in FIG. It is commercialized by simply folding it into the surface 2a. By doing so, the brush cloth 4 also exists on the axial end surface of the paper tube 2, and the corner portions of the wall surface can be coated at the same time. Further, as shown in FIG. 2D, not only the brush cloth 4 remaining in the inner peripheral surface 2a of the paper tube 2 and the slightly remaining paper tube 2 are simply folded but a plug 8 is fitted between them. You may fix together.

As described in detail above, according to the method for manufacturing a coating roller of the present invention, a brush cloth is wrapped around a tube formed to have a predetermined length corresponding to at least a plurality of roller bodies, and this is cut into a predetermined length. To make a plurality of roller bodies, remove one end of the tube of this roller body axially for a predetermined length leaving the brush cloth, and fold the remaining brush cloth into the one end opening of the tube,
At the same time, it is possible to make a plurality of roller bodies at the same time and to easily make a painting roller having a brush cloth on one end surface of the pipe. Therefore, it is possible to inexpensively manufacture the painting roller having the brush cloth on one end surface of the pipe.
