Conventional technology and its problems Conventionally, as shown in FIG.
A was used in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 22 was provided on the outer peripheral surface over the entire length so as to be parallel to the axial direction. However, when the sheet material S is wound around such a winding core 21, as can be seen from FIG. occurs, and the sheet material S is deformed at this portion. and,
Even if the sheet material S is rewound from the winding core 21, its curls remain, and when the rewound sheet material S is subjected to surface treatments such as coating or printing, or laminated with other sheet materials, the finished product may There was also the problem that the above habit appeared.

Therefore, a winding core that solves the above problem has been proposed, in which a notch with a substantially V-shaped cross section extending in the axial direction is formed on the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical body (see Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-195154). ). One side edge of the notch is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body via the step.
When winding up the sheet material, the end portion of the sheet material is brought into contact with the stepped portion. However, with this winding core, if the winding core is attached to the winding device in the opposite direction by mistake, the winding direction of the sheet material will be reversed.
At this time, the end of the sheet material will be located at the side edge of the half body side, which is different from the step in the notch, and the end of the sheet material will protrude radially outward from the outer line of the winding core. There are things to do. Then, a stepped portion is generated in the portion where the winding start end of the sheet material exists,
The sheet material deforms in this part. Even if the sheet material is rewound from the core, the curls remain, and when surface treatments such as coating or printing are applied to the rewound sheet material, or lamination processing with other sheet materials, the finished product may be affected. I also had a problem with the above habit.

In the above, the adhesive application recess is formed by, for example, applying a process such as embossing or cutting to the outer peripheral surface. It can also be formed by providing two protrusions parallel to the axial direction over the entire length. In the latter case, the outer surface of the protrusion and the outer surface of the other portion are smoothly connected.

Function When winding a sheet material around the sheet material core of this invention, winding is performed so that the winding start end of the sheet material extends into the recess and is on top of the adhesive layer. In this case, the winding start end enters the recess due to the winding pressure, and the adhesive is deformed, and unlike conventional methods, a stepped portion is created on the outer peripheral surface of the rolled product due to the presence of the winding start end. is prevented. This is true regardless of the winding direction of the sheet material.

The core 11 for sheet material is made of a cylindrical body, and a recess 12 for applying an adhesive parallel to the axial direction is provided along the entire length on the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 11a. A layer 3 is provided, and the surface of this pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 13 is covered with a release paper 4.

The adhesive application recess 12 has a substantially U-shaped cross section, and step portions 5 are formed on both side edges between the bottom surface of the recess 12 and the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 11a. moreover,
The depth of the recess 12 is greater than the thickness of the sheet material S to be wound up. Note that the outer shape before the recess 12 is formed is shown by a chain line in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The width of the adhesive layer 13 is narrower than the width of the recess 12, and one edge thereof is in contact with the stepped portion 5. The amount of adhesive in the adhesive layer 13 is such that when winding is completed, the void in the recess 12 except for the part where the winding start end of the sheet material S is present is filled. It is.

In such a configuration, in order to wind up the sheet material S around the core 11, the release paper 4 is first peeled off. Then, the sheet material S is pasted onto the surface of the adhesive layer 13 over a predetermined width from the winding start end so that the winding start end extends into the recess 12 and is above the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 13 ( (See FIG. 2), and in this state, the sheet material S is wound around the winding core 11. In the first roll, there is a gap between the winding start end of the sheet material S and the bottom of the recess 12, and between the winding end of the first roll and the adhesive layer 1.
There are blank spaces left between 3 and 3. As the winding progresses, a portion of the sheet material S from the winding start end to a predetermined length enters the recess 12 due to the winding pressure, and the adhesive layer 13 is deformed, causing the sheet material S in the recess 12 to deform. The void in the area where the winding start end does not exist is filled with adhesive (see Figure 3).
As a result, the outer surface of the winding start end of the sheet material S and the portion of the outer circumferential surface of the peripheral wall 11a of the winding core 11 connected to the edge on the stepped portion 5 side are smoothly connected to each other through the deformed adhesive layer 13. This prevents the formation of a stepped portion on the outer circumferential surface of the continuous and wound sheet material S.

In the case of this winding core 11, even if the winding core is attached to the winding device in the wrong direction and the winding direction of the sheet material S is reversed to that shown in the drawing, the end of the sheet material S , is prevented from protruding radially outward from the recess 12.

Effects of the invention According to this invention, if the sheet material is wound around the core with the winding start end of the sheet material placed above the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the winding direction can be any direction. Even when the winding start end enters the recess, the adhesive layer is deformed, and it is possible to prevent the formation of a stepped portion on the outer circumferential surface of the wound product due to the presence of the winding start end, as in the conventional case. Therefore, deformation of the sheet material due to the generation of the stepped portion is prevented, and even when processing is performed on the rewound sheet material, there is no problem with the processed product.
