かに小さくしたことにより、切替弁の弁軸が下方向に操
作され、給水源からの水を弁口を介して吐出口から吐出
させている状態では、吐水栓に印加される水圧が所定値
より高いとき、主弁の上面に対して印加される水圧が高
くなって、切替弁の弁軸が下方向に強く付勢されるた
め、切替弁がハンドシャワ−側に切替えられることを抑
制する一方、水圧が所定値より低い場合にハンドシャワ
−側に切替えが可能になるため、ハンドシャワ−のシャ
ワ−ホ−スが高い水圧で激しく動くことを防止すること
ができるという効果がある。

に連通する空気孔が開口された空気室の壁面に沿って水
密に摺動する下弁とが同軸状に取り付けられ、この下弁
の面積を前記主弁の面積より僅かに小さくしたことを特
徴とする吐水栓。
