からの信号に基づいて紙葉類の第1の面、及び第2の面
を選択的に反転する反転機構を備える紙葉類処理装置に
おいて、 前記鑑別部から搬出される紙葉類をその面向きのまま搬
送する第1の搬送路と、 この第1の搬送路の途中に設
けられ前記鑑別部による紙葉類の第1の面及び第2の面
の鑑別結果に基づき紙葉類を第1の面向き紙葉類と第2
の面向き紙葉類に区分けする区分手段と、 この区分手段により前記第1の搬送路から区分けされた
紙葉類の搬送方向を反転させるための紙葉類搬送方向反
転手段と、 前記区分手段で区分けされた紙葉類を前記紙葉類搬送方
向反転手段に搬送する第2の搬送路と、 紙葉類を前記紙葉類搬送方向反転手段から前記第1の搬
送路との合流部まで搬送する第3の搬送路と、 紙葉類を第2の搬送路から紙葉類搬送方向反転手段に案
内し、かつ紙葉類搬送方向反転手段から第3の搬送路へ
の案内を兼ねた複数の紙葉類押付部材付案内手段と、 紙葉類搬送方向反転手段により反転した紙葉類を挾持し
て第3の搬送路へ送り出すための複数の回転体対を備
え、 前記紙葉類押付部材付案内手段は、ローラの外周面に放
射状に配設された突起物を備え、前記複数の回転体対の
第2搬送路側の回転体と同軸に、且つ少なくとも紙葉類
を前記紙葉類搬送方向反転手段に搬入する側で搬入され
る紙葉類の少なくとも搬送方向の側部をわん曲させるよ
うに、その外径を第2搬送路側の搬送面よりも突出させ
て、前記複数の回転体対の第2搬送路側の回転体の両端
側に位置するものの外側に離して備え、 前記紙葉類搬送方向反転手段は、搬入される紙葉類の進
入を一定位置に停止する進入停止部材と、一端を該進入
停止部材に取付け他端側は前記第2の搬送路側に折れ曲
がって延伸し第2の搬送路から紙葉類搬送方向反転手段
に搬入する紙葉類の搬入をガイドする搬入ガイド部材
と、前記搬入ガイド部材と間隔をもって略平行な部分を
有しその平行部の端を進入停止部材に取付け他端側は前
記第3の搬送路側に折れ曲がって延伸し第3の搬送路側
に搬出する紙葉類をガイドする搬出ガイド部材とを備
え、 前記搬入ガイド部材の第2の搬送路側の端部は、前記紙
葉類押付部材付案内手段により紙葉類が変形力を受ける
位置より第1の搬送路側に延伸し、前記紙葉類押付部材
付案内手段によりわん曲するように変形された紙葉類の
変形を抑制する距離に設けられることを特徴とする紙葉
類処理装置。
