部材と、インナ部材の前後端部で開放側を覆う第1アウ
タ部材と、両端の第1アウタ部材の間の開放側を覆う第
2アウタ部材とを備えた車体前後方向に延びるサイドメ
ンバと、車体幅方向に延びるクロスメンバとの結合部に
おいて、サイドメンバの端部とクロスメンバの端部とが
閉断面を形成するガセットを介して結合されるととも
に、上記第1アウタ部材が延長されて成る第1アウタ部
材延長部が折曲され、該第1アウタ部材延長部及び折曲
部が、ガセットの車体外側面と、クロスメンバ端の隅部
を挟む2面とに接合されたことを特徴とする自動車の車
体構造。
