When cleaning, the suction port body 100 is used.
Is to move or move in the front-back direction on the floor surface F to perform cleaning. At this time, when the suction port body 100 is operated so as to move in the front direction, the seal portion 153 and the protrusion of the seal member 150 are provided. Since the tip of 154 is in contact with the floor surface, the support window 155 is rotated counterclockwise in FIG. 18 to a position indicated by a chain double-dashed line A in FIG. In order to open the portion 131a, large dust on the front side of the front bank 131 is sucked into the suction window 131a.

As described above, in the suction port body 100 of the conventional vacuum cleaner, the support shaft 1 is attached to the suction window portion 131a of the front bank 130 of the suction port body 100 during cleaning.
The seal member 150 is rotatably provided by 55, and the front bank portion 130 is responsive to the traveling operation of the suction port body 100 during cleaning.
The suction window 131a formed in the above is opened / closed, opened, or shielded by the seal member 150 so that large dust and fine dust can be sucked in reliably and efficiently. However, in the above-mentioned conventional structure, the seal member 150 is rotatably attached to the support shaft 155 fixedly attached to the storage groove 131b of the suction window 131a through the shaft hole 151 provided in the attachment portion 152. Therefore, when used for a long time, the shaft hole 151 and the support shaft 1
Dust enters and adheres to the sealing member 15
0 does not rotate smoothly, and the seal member 150 does not open or shield the suction window portion 131a in accordance with a traveling operation at the time of cleaning, and the state remains open or shielded. Even if the smooth rotation is blocked as described above, the operation from the closed state to the open state causes the projection to open due to the frictional force with the floor surface F when the suction port body 100 is moved forward. However, since the return from the open state to the shielded state is performed by the weight of the seal member 150 itself, the weight of the seal member 150 itself is small, so that the shield member 150 cannot return to the shielded state by its own weight. However, there is a problem that the suction force becomes weak and the dust cannot be sucked in reliably. Moreover, the problem that the seal portion 153 abnormally enters the suction opening side and rubs against the rotating brush 120 to cause wear of the seal member. Further, when the floor surface F is a carpet, the projection 153 slides on the floor surface F. There was a problem of contact and wear.

The seal member 10 has a storage groove 18
When attached to the wheel 3, that is, in the free state, the tip portion of the seal portion 27 and the tip portion of the protrusion 28 are located at the wheel 3
The dimensional relationship is such that it projects slightly below the line connecting the lower ends of 5 and 34. Therefore, when the suction port body 1 is placed on the floor surface F and the wheels 35 and 34 are in contact with the floor surface F, that is, in a stationary state, the tip of the seal portion 27 and the protrusion 28 are provided.
The tip portion of is lightly pressed against the floor surface F.
In addition, in the free state, the tip portion of the protrusion 28 is attached to the seal portion 27.
As a dimensional relationship in which the suction port body 1 is projected slightly more than the tip end portion of the above, a small gap is formed between the tip end portion of the seal portion 27 and the floor surface F when the suction port body 1 is placed on the floor surface F in a stationary state, The suction wind may flow from this gap.

In cleaning, the suction port body 1 is operated so as to run or move in the front-back direction on the floor surface F, but when the suction port body 1 is placed on the floor surface F, it is shown in FIG. As described above, the tips of both the seal portion 27 and the protrusion 28 are lightly pressed against the floor surface F. If the suction port body 1 is operated to move forward in this state, that is, in the direction of arrow A, the floor surface F is attached to the tip portions of the seal portion 27 and the protrusion 28.
Friction force acts on the seal portion 27, and the seal portion 27 bends at the bending portion 26 and pivots rearward, and as shown in FIG. Is separated from the floor surface F, and the seal portion 27 opens the suction window portion 17. With this opening, the suction airflow from the slit-like notch 27a gathers in the front side of the seal portion 27 in the shielding state. The dust is sucked through the suction window portion 17. At this time, since the suction window portion 17 is opened, even large dust is surely sucked. If the suction port body 1 is operated to move rearward, that is, in the direction of the arrow B from this state, the seal portion 27 causes the friction force between the protrusion 28 and the floor surface F and the elastic action of the bent portion 26 to cause the floor surface F to move. It rotates to the side, and then its front end rotates to the front by the frictional force received from the floor surface F. Then, as shown in FIG.
The tip end of 8 is separated from the floor surface F, and the tip end of the seal portion 27 moves while keeping contact with the floor surface F, that is, while slidingly contacting the floor surface F. That is, since the seal portion 27 is in a state of blocking or closing the suction window portion 17, the seal portion 2
The suction airflow from the front side of 7 is only from the notch 27a,
The suction force on the floor surface F at the portion corresponding to the suction opening 13 becomes strong, and fine dust is surely sucked.

As described above, when the suction port body 1 is moved forward and backward during cleaning, the seal portion 27 of the seal member 10 is bent at the bending portion 26 and rotated forward and backward in response to the running operation. Since the suction window portion 17 is opened and closed, large dust and fine dust can be sucked reliably and efficiently. Further, since the rotation of the seal portion 27 is performed by the bending of the bending portion 26, the malfunction of the rotation operation due to the adhesion of dust does not occur, and the seal member 10 has elasticity. The return from the open state to the shielded state is made by the elastic force of itself, and the opening and closing is surely performed.

If, for example, paper or cloth (not shown) is sucked into the suction opening 13 during cleaning, the paper or the like is strongly sucked into the suction opening 13, and at this time, the seal portion 27 is placed inside the paper and the like. That is, the tip end of the seal portion or the tip end of the protrusion 28 in some cases is abnormally bent toward the rotating brush 4 side, and the tip end portion of the protrusion 28 is the brush member 4 of the rotating brush 4.
Although a situation occurs in which the end of the seal portion 27 and the protrusion 28 or the brush member 4a of the rotary brush 4 is damaged by contacting a, as described above, the lower side of the rear groove wall 18a of the suction window portion 17 is not affected. Since the blocking projections 24 are formed, the seal portion 2 can be used even when paper or the like is stuck.
The rotation of 7 is restricted by the blocking projection 21 and does not rotate abnormally. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, a gap is formed between the locus indicated by the chain double-dashed line through which the tip of the brush member 4a of the rotary brush 4 passes and the tip of the seal portion 27, and the two are mutually separated. There is no contact, and damage to the tip portions of the seal portion 27 and the protrusion 28 or the brush member 4a can be prevented.

The reason why the seal member 10 is made of rubber is that synthetic resin such as soft vinyl chloride is thermoplastic as in the conventional case, and therefore, while the suction port body 1 is being cleaned, it can be moved during running operation. This is to prevent the situation in which the tip portion of the protrusion 28 melts due to frictional heat generated by friction with the floor surface F. In addition, the mounting base 2 of the seal member 10
The reason why the core member 23 is buried in the seal member 4 is that the seal member 10
When the material is rubber, the mounting base 24 is easily deformed and easily comes off the storage groove 18 during cleaning. Therefore, by embedding the core member 23, the thickness of the rubber that is easily deformed is reduced, This is to prevent the mounting base 23 from being deformed. Further, the reason why the core member 23 is a metal rod is that it is necessary to use a material having a melting point at which the core member does not melt due to the molding temperature when the rubber material is added to mold the seal member 10. Therefore, the core member 23 may be made of a material other than a metal material as long as the material has a melting point that does not melt at the molding temperature. Further, the core member 23 is attached to the mounting base 24.
By burying the slab by integral molding, it is possible to prevent contraction of the mounting base portion 24 after molding and also prevent dimensional errors from occurring.

Further, when the seal member 10 is made of rubber, the means for preventing the mounting base portion 24 from being deformed and mounting it in the housing groove 18 can be configured as shown in FIGS. That is, a mounting base portion 24a having a rectangular cross section as a mounted portion is formed continuously with the bent portion 26 of the seal member 10, and the groove 37a is inserted into the bent portion 26 while matching the sectional shape of the mounting base portion 24a. A holding member 37 formed by bending a metal plate so as to form a shape is fitted from one end side of the mounting base portion 24a so as to have shape retention, and the holding groove 18 is provided via the holding member 37.
It is to be attached to. Further, in the above case, the mounting base portion 24a and the holding member 37 constitute a mounted portion. The rest of the configuration is the same as that of the above-described embodiment, and the same parts are designated by the same reference numerals and the description thereof is omitted. Further, the holding member 37 is the seal member 10.
Since it is fitted and attached after forming
A material having shape retention property may be formed of synthetic resin having a melting point lower than the molding temperature of the seal member 10.
When the sandwiching member 35 is attached to the mounting base portion 24a in this way, when the seal member 10 is made of rubber having abrasion resistance, it is not necessary to integrally form the core member at the time of molding, and the molding efficiency is improved. You can Further, the problem that the material of the core member is limited to a metal or the like having a heat resistant material is also eliminated.

Next, an embodiment of the invention described in claim 3 will be described with reference to FIGS. 13 to 15. Since the configuration other than the portion related to the configuration of the present invention is the same as that of the above-mentioned embodiment, the same portions as those of the above-mentioned embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals and the description thereof will be omitted. As shown in FIG. 13, the suction port body 1
A notched window 27b having an opening area larger than that of the slit 27a is formed in the substantially central portion in the left-right direction of the seal portion 27 of the seal member 10 attached to the storage groove 18 of the suction window portion 17. Further, a projection 40 as a friction preventer having a width slightly narrower than the cutout width of the cutout window 27b is provided at a position corresponding to the cutout window 27b, and the projection 40 has a suction window portion 17 as shown in FIG. The storage groove 18 has a substantially L-shaped cross section that extends downward from the lower end of the rear groove wall 18a of the storage groove 18 and has the bending direction as the rear. The lower end of the projection 40, that is, the end 40a of the L-shaped bent portion is substantially halfway between the end of the rear groove wall 18a of the storage groove 18 and the line connecting the lower ends of the wheels 35 and 34. It is provided so that it may be located in the part. By setting the position of the tip end portion 40a of the protrusion 40 to the above position, it is possible to prevent the abrasion of the tip end portion of the protrusion 28 of the seal portion 27 that occurs even when cleaning a soft floor such as a carpet. The reason is that when the floor is soft like a carpet, the suction port body 1 moves in the front-rear direction while sinking into the floor during traveling, and the tip end of the protrusion 28 of the seal portion 27 moves to the floor surface. It is pressed by F with a strong force and the friction with the floor surface F increases, and as a result, the wear of the tip of the protrusion 28 is promoted.
When the suction port body 1 sinks into the floor when the tip of the suction port 1 is located at the position described above, the tip 40a of the projection 40 has the suction window 1
Abutting on the carpet surface that has entered 7 etc., that is, the floor surface F,
In order to prevent the sinking into the floor, that is, the inside of the carpet, the sinking amount is reduced and the friction between the tip end portion of the protrusion 28 and the floor surface F is reduced, and as a result, the wear is prevented.

By providing the protrusions 40 as described above, when cleaning the floor of a carpet or the like, even if the suction port body 1 sinks into the floor during traveling operation, the protrusions 40 prevent the sinking. As a result, it is possible to prevent wear of the tips of the protrusions 28. In addition, since the notch window 27b corresponding to the protrusion 40 is provided, the notch is combined with the fact that the suction port body 1 prevents the sinking and thus secures a gap with the floor surface F. Window 27
The dust can be effectively sucked from b.

In the above embodiment, the projection 40 is provided in the storage groove 18 of the suction window 17 below the rear groove wall 18a. However, the position of the projection 40 is not limited to this, and the vicinity of the suction window 17 is provided. Any position is acceptable as long as it is. Further, although the number of the protrusions 40 is one in the embodiment, a plurality of the protrusions 40 may be provided. Further, although the protrusion 21 is provided in the above-mentioned embodiment, this protrusion 21 is not always necessary from the viewpoint of preventing the abrasion of the protrusion 28.
