The floor brush 7 has a generally flat shape, and if the height is restricted, the bearing 1
The vertical dimension a of 7 must also be adjusted to the height of the floor brush 7. In this case, as described in the first embodiment, the distance W> W between the interval W between the holding portions 19a and 19b of the bearing portion 17 and the diameter d of the shaft 13 of the rotary brush 12a.
Since there is a relationship d, the left and right length b of the bearing portion 17 is set to a length suitable for this, and the vertical length a is shortened in accordance with the height of the floor brush 7, so that the left and right and upper and lower sides are asymmetric. Must be configured.

However, in accordance with the above conditions, it is difficult to visually discriminate just by making the vertical length a of the bearing portion 17 slightly shorter than the horizontal length b, and it is difficult to assemble the rotor brush 12a. In some cases, the bearing portion 17 may be mounted on the case 8 with the left-right direction up and down. For this reason, not only can the bearing portion 17 not be held by the holding portions 19a and 19b, but also the upper and lower heights are higher than the case 8, so that the cover 9 cannot be attached.

From the results of this experiment, it can be seen that when the bottom surface of the floor brush 7 is in contact with the floor surface almost in parallel, the aforementioned O2-
It became clear that the operability was better as the O2 line was substantially parallel to the floor surface and the rearward extension of the hose 3 connected to the connecting portion 41 from the connecting portion 41 was smaller. However, in order to improve the operability, as shown in FIG. 11, when the O2 -O2 line is made to be almost parallel, when the angle .theta. Is large, the connecting portion 41 is inclined obliquely upward and the hose 3 is turned upward. Of the hose 3 becomes large, a large force is required to support the weight of the hose 3, and the operability is reduced.

In order to reduce the overhang of the hose 3 from the connecting portion 41 to the rear and reduce the force for supporting the weight of the hose 3, the O1-O1 line is made parallel and the grip portion 43 is provided. If it is large, as shown in FIG. 12, the inclination with respect to the floor surface becomes large, so that the floor brush 7 does not adhere securely to the floor surface, so that the suction performance is reduced, and the grip portion is held in a state where the thumb side is up. As a result, the hand is strained and fatigue is great.

From the above, by making the O1-O1 line and the O2-O2 line as parallel as possible, and setting the angle θ formed between them in the range of 0 to 10 °,
The operability of the floor brush 7 can be improved. That is, it is possible to obtain a hand-held pipe which does not come off during cleaning, can secure strength, is durable, easy to use, and excellent in operability.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the spatula disposed on the front surface of the floor brush is disposed alternately in the form of strip-shaped elastic members and the front and rear sides of the spatula are overlapped. From the elastic piece having a trapezoidal cross section and an elastic piece having an inverted trapezoidal cross section which are alternately formed by providing an eight-letter slit as viewed in plan at predetermined intervals in the vertical direction of a long elastic member. Since the elastic piece having the inverted trapezoidal cross section is formed thinner than the elastic piece having the inverted trapezoidal cross section, the suction performance of dust or the like on the front surface can be improved without lowering the degree of vacuum of the floor brush, and The degree of vacuum at the suction port and the suction performance of dust and the like on the front surface of the floor brush can be balanced.
