Abstract

PURPOSE: To display charge on a display device when there is no on-vehicle equipment or on-vehicle equipment is failed. CONSTITUTION: When a vehicle 1 mounting an on-vehicle equipment 2 is traveling on a lane 7, a vehicle detector 4 detects the entry of the vehicle 1 and sends a vehicle detection signal (entry) 10 to a lane controller 5. The controller 5 measures the signal 10 and timing up to the start of radio communication through a radio wave between an antenna 3 and the equipment 2, and when communication is not started within a fixed time, recognized no on-vehicle equipment or the existence of the failed on-vehicle equipment and displays the failure on a display device 6, so that the failed vehicle can be properly informed of the failure.

According to the present invention, when a vehicle enters by such means, the vehicle detector detects the entry and transmits the signal to the lane control device. When the lane control device receives this signal, it instructs the antenna, and the antenna emits an inquiry radio wave to the vehicle-mounted device. If there is no vehicle-mounted device in the vehicle, or if the vehicle-mounted device is out of order, wireless communication with the antenna is not performed, so the lane control device sets a fixed time from the time of entering the vehicle, and within this time If wireless communication is not performed, it is considered that there is no vehicle-mounted device or that the vehicle-mounted device has failed, and control is performed to display this fact on the display. The timing of this fixed time is
The lane control device calculates the average value of the timing of wireless communication from the vehicle entry with the latest number of measurement data, and always updates to the latest current data to set a fixed time, so an accurate determination is made, Is displayed.

The vehicle-mounted device 2 and the antenna 3 mounted on the vehicle 1
Wireless communication is performed with the vehicle, the ID number stored in the memory of the vehicle-mounted device 2 is checked in advance, and if normal, the toll is subtracted from the amount data of the vehicle-mounted device 2,
By displaying the remaining amount of money and the toll on the display device 6, the driver is notified of the communication result. Further, as a result of checking the ID number, in the case of an in-vehicle device that has been reported as lost, or if the amount of money is insufficient, that fact is displayed on the display device 6 to notify the driver.

Next, a detailed description will be given of the case of a vehicle that does not have the vehicle-mounted device 2 or a vehicle in which the vehicle-mounted device 2 is defective, which is a feature of the present invention. In FIG. 1, when a vehicle that does not have the vehicle-mounted device 2 or a vehicle in which the vehicle-mounted device 2 is faulty enters the vehicle detector 4, a vehicle detection signal (entry) 10 indicates a lane control device 5
And the radio wave 8 is emitted from the antenna 3. However, since the vehicle does not have the vehicle-mounted device 2 or is out of order, wireless communication with the antenna 3 is not performed, and the communication result cannot be displayed on the display unit 6, so the driver is notified. I can't.

Therefore, for such a vehicle, "A" is given for a certain period of time after the vehicle detection signal (entry) 10 is received.
When communication is not performed between the antenna 3 and the vehicle-mounted device 2 inside, it is determined that the vehicle does not have the vehicle-mounted device 2 or is a malfunctioning vehicle, and by displaying that fact on the display device 6, the driver However, it is difficult to determine “A” for a certain period of time depending on the running state of the vehicle (congestion, non-stop, etc.).

For example, during a rush hour in the morning and evening, if "A" is too short for a certain period of time, if a vehicle having a normal vehicle-mounted device 2 runs slowly, it is erroneously determined as a vehicle not having the vehicle-mounted device 2. In addition, when the traffic volume at night is small, non-stop high-speed driving is performed. Therefore, if "A" is too long for a certain period of time, the display device 6 is displayed on the vehicle without the vehicle-mounted device 2 or the vehicle that has failed. After passing, it is not possible to notify the driver because an abnormal message is displayed.

Therefore, the timing of the vehicle detection signal (entry) 10 and the result of wireless communication between the antenna 3 and the vehicle-mounted device 2 is measured, the running state of the vehicle is determined, and "A" is determined for a certain period of time. By doing so, the above-mentioned problem can be solved. A method of determining the fixed time "A" will be described below with reference to the timing chart of FIG.

FIG. 3 shows the vehicle detection signal (entry) 10 output from the vehicle detector 4 and the timing of wireless communication between the antenna 3 and the vehicle-mounted device 2. FIG. (B) is for low / medium speed running. In FIG. 3, x is a timing from the start of the vehicle detection signal (entry) 10 to the start of wireless communication, and this timing x has a different value depending on each vehicle or the traveling state of the vehicle. In general, the tamping during high-speed driving and low / medium-speed driving is x

A is a coefficient, 1 ≦ a, and i is the number of items from the latest measurement data. "A" is calculated for a certain period of time by taking the average of the latest measurement data i for the timing x and multiplying by the coefficient a. If the constant time "A" is updated to a new value one after another, the timing x suitable for the running state of the vehicle can always be obtained. If wireless communication is performed at such a timing x, the vehicle-mounted device is not mounted. It is possible to determine the vehicle or the vehicle in which the vehicle-mounted device is out of order, and display that fact on the display unit 6.

In the toll collection system of this embodiment, the vehicle detector 4 detects the entry of the vehicle 1, and the timing of wireless communication between the vehicle detection signal (entry) 10, the antenna 3 and the vehicle-mounted device 2. Is measured by the lane control device 5, and the timing is averaged by the number of the latest measurement data to calculate "A" for a certain period of time. It is possible to display the abnormality information of the in-vehicle device on the display 6 by discriminating this even for a vehicle having no in-vehicle device or a vehicle in which the in-vehicle device has a failure without making any change only by bringing it closer to the area. It is possible to notify the driver.

As described above in detail, the present invention comprises an antenna for wireless communication with an in-vehicle device, a vehicle detector for detecting an approaching vehicle, a display, and a lane control device for controlling these. The lane control device measures the timing until the vehicle enters and the in-vehicle device wirelessly communicates with the antenna. If wireless communication is not performed within a predetermined time, the vehicle or the in-vehicle device does not have an in-vehicle device. Since the configuration is such that it is regarded as a failure and is displayed on the display indicating that there is an abnormality, it is optimal for vehicles without an on-board unit or for a vehicle that does not have an on-board unit, without changing the conventional equipment configuration. It becomes possible to display at the display timing.
