Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】使い捨ておむつに大便保持用のポケットを設け
る。 【構成】透液性表面シ−ト２と、不透液性裏面シ−ト３
と、それら両シ−ト２、３間に介在する吸液性コア４と
からなる使い捨ておむつ１において、コア４を上層コア
２０と下層コア２１とで構成し、さらに上層コア２０を
前側コア２０Ａと後側コア２０Ｂとで構成してそれら前
後コア２０Ａ、２０Ｂを臀部当接部位で前後方向に所要
寸法離間させ、上層コア２０を被覆する表面シ−ト２を
その離間させた部位で折曲し、上下層コア２０、２１間
に折り込むことによって大便保持用のポケット２８，２
９をつくる。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、使い捨ておむつ、よ
り詳しくは大便保持用ポケットを有する使い捨ておむつ
に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、使い捨ておむつにおいて吸液性コ
アに大便保持用の凹部を設ける技術は公知である。例え
ば、実開平６−５６１４号公報には吸液性コアの臀部当
接部位に凹部を設け、その凹部の開口面に位置する表面
シ−トで弁部を構成する技術が開示されている。大便
は、弁部を押し開くようにして凹部に流れ込み、その後
に閉じた弁部は大便が流れ出たり、肌に触れたりするこ
とを防止する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記公知のおむつで
は、コアに設けた凹部が型崩れしないようにしなければ
ならず、そのために凹部内壁を固化したり、表面シ−ト
に代わる丈夫な透液性シ−トで被覆したりしなければな
らないという問題がある。さもないと、コアを構成する
細かい粉砕パルプや高吸水性ポリマ−粒子が弁の隙間か
ら漏れて着用者に著しい不快感を与えることになる。コ
アは通常ティッシュペ−パ−で被覆するが、ティッシュ
ペ−パ−の湿潤強度は極めて低いから、粉砕パルプ等に
対する十分な漏れ防止手段になり得ない。
【０００４】そこでこの発明は、コアを上下二層で構成
するとともに、上層コアを前後方向に二分して互いに離
間させ、その離間させた部分から表面シ−トを上下層コ
ア間に折り込むことで前記問題を解決することを課題に
している。
【０００５】
【課題を解決するための手段】この発明が前記課題を解
決するために手段とするところは、以下のとおりであ
る。
【０００６】この発明が前提とするのは、透液性表面シ
−トと不透液性裏面シ−トとの間に吸液性コアを介在さ
せた使い捨ておむつである。
【０００７】かかる前提において、前記コアをその厚さ
方向を二分する上層コアと下層コアとで構成し、かつ、
前記上層コアを臀部当接部位において前後方向を二分す
る前側コアと後側コアとで構成するとともに前記前後方
向において前記前側コアの後端と後側コアの前端とを所
要寸法離間させ、前記上層コアの上面を被覆する前記表
面シ−トを前記後端と前端とにおいて前記下層コアに向
けて折曲し、かつ、その折曲した部分を前記上下層コア
間に折り込んで大便保持用ポケットを形成したことがこ
の発明の特徴である。

【作用】このように構成したおむつでは、上層コアと下
層コアとの間に折り込んだ表面シ−トがおむつの後端お
よび／または前端に向かって開口するポケットを形成
し、そこで大便を保持することができる。

【実施例】この発明に係る使い捨ておむつの詳細を添付
の図面を参照して説明すると、以下のとおりである。
【００１０】図１、２は、おむつ１の部分破断斜視図と
そのＩＩ−ＩＩ線端面図である。ただし、おむつ１が、
図１において伸展した状態にあり、図２においては着用
して前後方向に湾曲した状態にある。
【００１１】図１において、おむつ１は透液性表面シ−
ト２と、不透液性裏面シ−ト３と、吸液性コア４とから
なり、前後方向が前身頃６と、後身頃７と、両身頃６、
７間に位置する股下域８とからなる。おむつ１の左右両
側には脚周り凹欠部に沿って弾性部材９が伸長状態で表
裏面シ−ト２、３のいずれかの内面に取り付けてあり、
後身頃７には左右両側縁に慣用のテ−プファスナ１０が
あって、端縁部に腰周り弾性部材１１が伸長状態で表裏
面シ−ト２、３いずれかの内面に取り付けてある。股下
域８の後身頃７寄りは臀部当接域であって、そこには幅
方向に延びる溝部１５がある。
【００１２】図２に示すように、コア４はその厚み方向
を二分する上層コア２０と下層コア２１とからなり、上
層コア２０は溝１５を挟んで前側コア２０Ａと後側コア
２０Ｂとからなる。前側コア２０Ａの後端部２２と後側
コア２０Ｂの前端部２３とは前後方向に所要寸法離間
し、溝１５の側壁を形成している。また、前側コア２０
Ａの前端部２４と後側コア２０Ｂの後端部２５とはホッ
トメルト接着剤２６によって下層コア２１に接合してい
る。上層コア２０を被覆している表面シ−ト２は溝１５
の両側壁に沿い下層コア２１に向かって折曲し、その折
曲した一部を上下層コア２０、２１間に折り込むことに
よって、おむつ１の後端に向かって開口する前ポケット
２８と、前端に向かって開口する後ポケット２９とを形
成している。これらの前後ポケット２８、２９は、前側
コア２０Ａや後側コア２０Ｂが厚み方向に下層コア２１
から離間することによって大きく口を開く。
【００１３】表面シ−ト２は、溝１５においておむつ１
の幅方向全体を折曲し、折り込んだ状態にあるから（図
１参照）、おむつ１の左右両側縁近傍で互いに重なり合
う表面シ−ト２どうしを接合し、その重なり合った間か
ら体液漏れが生じないようにしてある。
【００１４】このように構成したおむつ１では、排泄さ
れた大便が図２の矢印で示すように前後ポケット２８、
２９に入るから、大便が表面シ−ト２上に広がって着用
者の肌をみだりに汚すことがない。特に軟便が排泄され
たときには、前後ポケット２８、２９が顕著な効果を奏
する。もっとも、このおむつ１で前後にポケットを必要
としないときには、前後ポケット２８、２９のうちのい
ずれか一方だけを残し、もう一方を省くことができる。
また、このおむつ１には、左右両側部で前後方向に延
び、おむつの肌当接面から上方への起立性向を有する周
知の伸縮性防漏堤（フラップ）を設けて、軟便が溝１５
の左右から側方へ漏れるのを防止することができる。
【００１５】おむつ１において、表裏面シ−ト２、３や
コア４には当該技術分野における慣用の素材を使用すれ
ばよい。各部材を接合するにはホットメルト接着剤など
を使用する接着技術の他に、熱溶融性材料に対する溶着
技術を利用することができる。なお、コア４は慣用技術
に従ってティッシュペ−パ−で被覆し、コア４を構成す
る粉砕パルプや高吸水性ポリマ−を所要の賦型形状に保
持することができる

【発明の効果】この発明に係るおむつでは、おむつの後
端および／または前端に向かって開口するポケットに大
便、ことに軟便を閉じ込めるようにして保持できるか
ら、便で着用者の肌を汚すことがない。吸液性コアは表
面シ−トで被覆してあり、また必要ならティッシュペ−
パ−で被覆しておくこともできるから、従来技術のよう
にコアを構成するパルプや高吸水性ポリマ−粒子がおむ
つの外へ漏れるおそれがない。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】透液性表面シ−トと不透液性裏面シ−トと
    の間に吸液性コアを介在させた使い捨ておむつにおい
    て、 前記コアをその厚さ方向を二分する上層コアと下層コア
    とで構成し、かつ、前記上層コアを臀部当接部位におい
    て前後方向を二分する前側コアと後側コアとで構成する
    とともに前記前後方向において前記前側コアの後端と後
    側コアの前端とを所要寸法離間させ、前記上層コアの上
    面を被覆する前記表面シ−トを前記後端と前端とにおい
    て前記下層コアに向けて折曲し、かつ、その折曲した部
    分を前記上下層コア間に折り込んで大便保持用ポケット
    を形成したことを特徴とする前記おむつ。
