Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an upright type vacuum cleaner with improved safety, simplified wiring and improved assembly, by mounting and supporting a semiconductor element for controlling power to an electric blower between paths to communicate a permanent opening part constructed in a part of a communicating path of a by-pass indicator and a dust collecting part. CONSTITUTION: A by-pass indicator 44 is constructed by an outer air intake opening and a communicating path 46. The communicating path 46 is formed by a main body case 3 and a rear case to constitute a 90 deg. bent tube air tight path. An FLS element with a cooling fin 52 to control the power to an electric blower 12 in a communicating path 46 between a ventilation hole 42 and a by-pass indicator 44. Since cooling of the FLS element cannot be performed in the unperformable range of the by-pass indicator 44, an always opening permanent opening part is constructed on the back wall of the communicating path 46 in adjacency of the FLS element 51 to take in outer air through the permanent opening part to perform cooling, considering the suction work efficiency, the suction performance, leak noises, etc.

However, since it is supported in the suction passage as described above, the flow of the suction air flow is obstructed, and there are problems such as abnormal noise generation, assembling performance, and safety.
Also, due to the structure of the upright type electric vacuum cleaner, the electric blower is located below, and the upper part is designed to support the electrical components such as switches and power control boards in consideration of usability. When the semiconductor element is provided, the wiring process becomes more complicated, and the problem of assembling occurs. Further, when it is arranged on the intake side of the electric blower, it is a problem in terms of safety to install it near a fan that rotates at high speed. Therefore, by supporting the semiconductor element near the parts such as the switch above the main body where there is no rotating object, it is possible to improve the safety and simplify the wiring process, which contributes to the assembling property.

[MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] The bypass indicator operates when the semiconductor element is supported in a path communicating the bypass indicator and the dust collecting portion and the dust collecting portion is clogged for a certain amount or more. While being guided by the bypass indicator and cooling the semiconductor element in the path, the electric blower is cooled by the external airflow passing through the inside of the dust collecting portion and discharged from the exhaust hole. However, since the semiconductor element cannot be cooled in the region where the bypass indicator does not operate, the semiconductor element can be cooled with a configuration in which a constant opening is provided in a part of the outer wall of the communication path to constantly take in fresh air. Become.

According to the present invention, the fresh air is constantly struck on the cooling fins of the semiconductor element through the permanent openings, so that the cooling effect is produced. In addition, due to the clogging of the dust collection part, the bypass indicator operates at a certain air volume, which not only serves as a guideline for waste disposal, but also outside air flows in from the bypass indicator.
A cooling action of the semiconductor element is also imparted through the introduction path.

A ventilation hole 42 is provided on the upper wall of the dust collecting portion 14, and the ventilation hole 42 communicates with a bypass indicator 44.
When the paper bag 38 in the dust collecting portion 14 catches dust more than a certain amount and becomes clogged and becomes a certain negative pressure or less, the piston of the bypass indicator 44 moves to take in the outside air, the communication passage 46, the ventilation hole 42. To the electric blower chamber 7 via the dust collecting portion 14 and prevent overheating due to insufficient cooling of the electric blower 12 when the air volume decreases. The bypass indicator 44 is composed of an outside air intake 48 and a communication passage 46, and the communication passage 46 is formed by the main body case 3 and the rear case 5 to form a 90-degree curved pipe airtight path. The bypass indicator 44 is airtightly mounted and supported. on the other hand,
An outside air intake 48 is provided in front of the bypass indicator 44.
The bypass indicator 44 operates when the dust collecting portion 14 is clogged as described above to prevent the electric blower 12 from overheating. Here, the FLS element 51 with the cooling fin 52 for controlling the electric power of the electric blower 12
Is provided in the communication passage 46 between the ventilation hole 42 and the bypass indicator 44, the cooling fins 52 of the FLS element 51 are cooled by the external airflow during the operation of the bypass indicator 44, and the FLS element 51 can be prevented from overheating. However, the inoperable region of the bypass indicator 44, that is, the dust collecting unit 1
Since the FLS element 51 cannot be cooled while the paper bag 38 in 4 is in a state of not collecting dust and before the operation of the bypass indicator 44, the rear wall 5 of the communication passage 46 near the FLS element 51 is
In consideration of suction work rate, suction performance, leak noise, etc., a permanent opening 56 that is always open is provided in 4, and outside air is constantly taken in through the opening 56 and cooled.

The area and size of the permanent opening 56 were examined in consideration of sound, suction power, etc., and as a result, the plurality of small holes 57 and the inverted mortar-shaped portion were separated when the outside air flow was taken in. It is difficult to do and can be made quiet. Further, since the permanent opening 56 is provided on the back wall 54 of the main body case 3, the permanent opening 56 is far from the user during operation of the upright type vacuum cleaner,
Furthermore, the structure is such that it is covered by the expansion and contraction hose 34 and the outside air flow sound is insulated. Regarding the suction power, the permanent opening 56
Of the small holes 57, that is, the number of small holes 57, and can be appropriately selected. The suction power is selected in consideration of the suction performance and the temperature rise value of the electric blower.
