【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 挿入口から搬送した通帳類に印字を行う
通帳類印字装置において、該挿入口から挿入された通帳
類を案内する上搬送ガイド及び下搬送ガイドと、該搬送
ガイドに挿入された通帳類を少なくとも1組のローラに
より挟持して上下搬送ガイド間を搬送する搬送ローラ
と、前記上下搬送ガイドにより搬送された通帳類に印字
を行う印字ヘッドと、該上下搬送ガイドに通帳類が挿入
されたこと及び印字ヘッドに通帳類が位置していること
を検知する検知部と、前記下搬送ガイドの挿入口近傍に
下搬送ガイドの全幅又は一部の幅にわたって開口する開
口部と、該開口部内で通帳類搬送方向に回動するシャッ
タプレ−トとを備え、該シャッタプレ−トが検知部によ
り通帳類を搬送する際に該開口部を覆って通帳類を搬送
可能に回動し、少なくとも通帳類が印字ヘッドに位置し
ているときに上下搬送ガイド間の間隔を塞ぐ様に動作す
ることを特徴とする通帳類印字装置。
