Abstract

PURPOSE: To lessen the area, which is occupied by a common-mode choke coil, in a printed board or the like by a method wherein four electrodes are provided in roughly parallel to each other on the bottom of the lower flange part of a core and the end parts of two wire materials are respectively connected electrically with the electrode different from each other. CONSTITUTION: A common-mode choke coil 15 is constituted of a core 1 and two wire materials 11 and 12. The core 1 consists of a drum part 2 and flange parts 3 and 4, which are respectively provided on both ends of this drum part 2. The drum part 2 is formed into a rectangle-shaped section. Strip electrodes 5, 6, 7 and 8 to reach from the edge part on this side of the flange part 4 to the edge part on the depth side of the flange part 4 are provided side by side in parallel to each other on the bottom of the flange part 4.
