Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the installation position of a transformer optionally selective by connecting a detector to measure the flow rate of a fluid electromagnetically to the transformer to transform the measured flow rate into a signal with flexible pipe. CONSTITUTION: A detector 1 electromagnetically measures the flow rate of a fluid and a transformer 2 is provided with a display part 9 and converts the measured flow rate of the fluid by the detector 1 into a signal. The detector 1 and the transformer 2 are connected mutually by inserting a signal wire in a flexible pipe 3 which can be bent flexibly. Generally, since the transformer 2 is more susceptive to vibration and thermal energy, the transformer can be installed in a proper position in the case a prearranged position is a place where pipeline vibration is intensive and the temperature of a fluid is high. The display part 9 can also be installed independently of the detector 1 in a position and a direction in which the display can be seen easily.

2. Description of the Related Art An electromagnetic flowmeter is roughly classified into two types, that is, a detector and a converter are integrated, or a detector and a converter are separately attached. Normally, when the vibration of the pipe is large or when the fluid temperature is high, the separated type is often used, and the integrated type is often used to reduce the cable construction cost between the detector and the converter. Further, in the case of the integral type, it was customary to fix the converter on the upper part of the detector. In the case of the integrated type, the converter is attached to the detector, and only the power cable and output cable are connected from the converter. In the separated type, a detector and a converter are connected with an exciting cable and a signal cable, and a total of four power cables and output cables are connected. In this way, because the integrated type has less cables, the construction cost is lower,
Since there is a shielded signal cable for transmitting the electromotive force (small signal) from the detector, the integrated type has been often used in terms of construction and performance. However, in the case of the integrated type, since the converter is generally more vulnerable to vibrations, the separated type has been used unavoidably when the vibration of the pipe is large or when the fluid temperature is high. In the case of the integrated type, the converter is fixed to the detector. The mounting direction of the converter was also determined by the mounting direction of the detector. Therefore,
Depending on the mounting direction of the detector, the direction of the indicator equipped on the converter may be upside down or sideways, so that the viewer may not be able to mount it in the normal direction. To solve these problems, the angle of the converter can be changed by 90 degrees, the display cover was rotated, etc., but the directionality is limited, and it cannot be said that the requirements of the viewer are satisfied. It was the current situation.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention can be used as an integrated type regardless of pipe vibration and fluid temperature.
It is possible to freely move the detector and the converter between the detector and the converter by using a flexible pipe, etc., which is flexible due to the integrated connection method. It is to be able to install the converter from a place where the fluid temperature is high to an unrelated place. In addition, in the case of the integrated type, the display direction of the converter often does not show the normal position, and there were complaints that it was difficult for the viewer to see at the site. This is because, in the case of the current integrated type, the orientation of the transducer is limited because it is directly attached to the detector. This is also solved by allowing the converter to move freely as described above. In other words, for the separated type and the integrated type, select the separated type or the integrated type depending on the location conditions, etc., and depending on the mounting direction of the detector, specify the mounting direction of the converter each time, or set the mounting direction at the site. I responded by changing it. By allowing these problems to be freely attached between the detector and the converter, it becomes possible to solve at once the problem that the indicator cannot be seen due to the mounting direction of the converter or the direction is bad. . In addition, because the temperature of the fluid is high, the separation type, which requires a high construction cost, was selected, but the problem can be solved by mounting the detector and converter at a distance that is not affected by heat. In the flowmeter, the mounting method of the detector and the converter is integrated or separated to eliminate the constraint condition, and it is not possible with the conventional product, where there is a large pipe vibration, high fluid temperature, or converter. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electromagnetic flowmeter device that can be installed at a position where the mounting direction can be freely selected.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Next, an embodiment of the communication device of the present invention will be described. In FIG. 1, a detector 1 is a measuring device that electromagnetically measures the liquid flow rate. The converter 2 is a signal conversion device that includes the display unit 9 and that converts the liquid flow rate into a signal by measuring with the detector 1. The flexible tube 3 is a bent flexible signal line insertion tube that connects the transducer 2 and the detector 1.

Then, the detector 1 and the converter 2 of the electromagnetic flow meter
Between the and, the function of the conventional integrated type (The integrated type has a converter attached to the detector, and only the power cable and the output cable are connected from the converter. The converters are connected by an excitation cable and a signal cable, and a power cable and an output cable are connected in total.), And the connection to the detector 1 is as shown in FIG. Since the converter 2 is generally more vulnerable to vibration and heat by connecting with a flexible flexible pipe, the converter should be installed in a place where pipe vibration is large or when fluid temperature is high. It is possible to mount it at a different position as described above, and it can be used as an integrated type regardless of pipe vibration and fluid temperature. Further, the display direction of the converter is not restricted by the mounting direction of the detector, and the converter can be mounted at a position that is easy to see. 2 and 3, 4 is a connecting pipe, 5 is a converter mounting rod, 6 is a connecting bolt, 7 is a power cable, and 8 is an output cable. Further, reference numeral 10 in FIG. 3 indicates a mounting member.

As described above, the flexible tube 3 made of metal is used to connect the detector 1 and the converter 2. It should be noted that the detector 1 and the converter 2 side are made of, for example, metal so as to have an airtight structure and electrostatically shield the connection between the detector and the converter. Use flexible tubes. As a result, for example, when the pipe vibration is large or the fluid temperature is high, it can be attached to another place as shown in FIG. When the display unit 9 of the on-pipe converter is difficult to see, the converter 2 may be attached at a free position as shown in FIG. 3, and the display direction of the converter 2 may be located at a place where it is easy to see. It will be possible.
