Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape without using any unnecessary process paper in the course of production thereof by forming a cast film on one surface of a release paper having release properties on both surfaces thereof, forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the other surface of the release paper, and winding up the resultant laminate into the form of a roll. CONSTITUTION: One surface of a release paper 1 having release properties on both surfaces thereof is coated with an organosol of a vinyl chloride resin, and the coated release paper is then passed through a drying chamber 2 to form a cast film on the release paper, which is then wound up into the form of a roll to obtain a cast film 3 with a release paper. The other surface of the film 3 is coated with a soln. of a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and the film thus coated is then passed and dried through a drying chamber 4 to obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 5, which is then wound up into the form of a roll.

In the method shown in FIG. 5, first, as shown in FIG. 5 (a), a casting liquid is applied to the peeling surface of a process paper 51 having a peelable surface on one side, and then this is passed through a drying chamber 52. After forming the casting film on the release surface, cast film with process paper 53
Only the casting film 54 is wound into a roll while the process paper 51 is peeled off. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 5B, an adhesive solution is applied to the release surface of a release paper (hereinafter abbreviated as single-sided release paper) 55 having a release property on one side, which is then placed in a drying chamber 52. After forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the release surface by passing it, the casting film 54 is brought into close contact with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the release paper 56 with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the obtained pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 57 is rolled up.

In the method shown in FIG. 6, first, as shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, one side is coated with a casting solution on the release surface of the process paper 51 having peelability, and then this is passed through the drying chamber 52 to form a casting film on the release surface, and then the process paper is attached. The casting film 53 is rolled up. After that, as shown in FIG. 6B, an adhesive solution is applied to the release surface of the single-sided release paper 55,
Then, after passing this through the drying chamber 52 to form an adhesive layer on the release surface, the adhesive layer of the release paper 56 with the adhesive layer is brought into close contact with the film surface of the casting film 53 with the above process paper, and then The adhesive tape 57 thus obtained is wound into a roll while the process paper 51 is peeled off.
