As described above, the conventional method for fixing the vehicle seat cover to the vehicle seat body requires auxiliary materials such as wires and resin core materials. In addition, it takes time to sew these auxiliary materials to the vehicle seat cover. Further, it is necessary to add a positioning point for correct positioning and work together with the positioning point. All of these will increase the manufacturing cost of vehicle seats. Further, the fixing work using the positioning points lacks certainty, and as a result, the vehicle seat cover may not be accurately fixed to the vehicle seat, which often causes a problem in maintaining product quality such as poor appearance.

The vehicle seat cover is manufactured by forming knitting using a flat knitting machine, and in the course in which the hole is provided, only the number of needles corresponding to the length of the hole in the longitudinal direction is put in a rest state so that the stitch is not knitted. Therefore, it is preferable to provide holes. If the holes are formed in such a knitting process, the holes can be accurately provided along the peripheral edge of the vehicle seat cover, and as a result, the vehicle seat cover is properly tensioned to the vehicle seat at an appropriate position. Can be fixed in the state. It is more preferable to make the tongue-shaped piece the shape of the protrusion that locks each of the plurality of holes, because each hole is locked by the jaw of the tongue-shaped piece so as not to fall off.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings showing an example of a method for fixing a vehicle seat cover of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing an example of a vehicle seat cover used in the fixing method of the present invention. The vehicle seat cover 11 shown in FIG. 8 is knitted in a U-shaped cross-section so that the vehicle seat body (not shown) is covered by forming knitting using a flat knitting machine. A plurality of slit-shaped holes 12 are provided in the course of knitting along the peripheral edge 11a of the vehicle seat cover 11. In addition, as shown in FIG.
It is preferable to provide a band-shaped stretch-resistant region 13 at a position slightly above. That is, since the vehicle seat cover 11 formed by knitting is usually knitted with a double jersey structure as a main structure, it tends to stretch a little, and therefore, the portion fixed to the vehicle seat by the plurality of holes described above is fixed. Seat cover 11 for knitted fabric vehicles
Wavy phenomenon is likely to occur. Therefore, the strip-shaped area 13
It is preferable to prevent the waving phenomenon by changing the front and back stitches of the double jersey structure to a knitting structure that is relatively hard to stretch, such as the plain knitting or the Ichimatsu pattern knitting.

FIG. 11 shows another example of the knitting procedure of the vehicle seat cover 11 with holes. The knitting procedure shown in FIG. 11 is the same as the knitting procedure shown in FIG. In the knitting procedure of the perforated portion shown in FIG. 11, the procedure (i)
The yarn A and the yarn B are knitted until just before the hole formation start point, and the needles are made to miss both the yarn A and the yarn B at the portion corresponding to the rear hole. At this time, the ends of the yarn A and the yarn B are held by the yarn guide device. The next course moving from the right to the left of the carriage will be an empty course. In step (ii), the first stitch is knitted with the front needle using the yarn A, and the stitch is transferred to the rear needle at the position shown in the next course. procedure
In (iii), transfer with thread B. That is, the first stitch is knitted with the rear needle using the thread B, and transferred to the front needle at the position shown in the figure in the next course. In the next step (iv), the transfer with the thread A is performed in the same manner as in the step (ii), but from the time of the step (ii), only one stitch is moved in the direction toward the end point of the hole (to the right in FIG. 11) to the first stitch. After knitting, transfer to the rear needle in the next course. In the procedure (v) as well, the first stitch is knitted by the back needle with the thread B similarly to the procedure (iii), but similarly, the stitch is moved by one stitch toward the end point of the hole, and the stitch is transferred to the front needle in the next course. In this way, step (iv) and step (v) are repeated until the end of the hole. As a result, when the knitting method of Example 2 shown in FIG. 11 is used, the edges of the holes become stitches which are connected in a zigzag manner, and the stitches are reinforced as if they were oversewn. That is, in the hole portion, the outer material and the lining are closed by the knitting method of Example 2, but the outer material and the lining are left open by the knitting method of Example 1 shown in FIG. FIGS. 10 and 11 show an example for forming holes,
Various knitting methods can be used as long as they can form a hole having a size into which a frame protrusion of a vehicle seat described later can be inserted. Also, the yarns used are two types of yarn A and yarn B in the above example, but three or more various colored yarns may be used for knitting.

The vehicle seat cover fixing method of the present invention is provided with a plurality of fixing holes in the vehicle seat cover itself.
A structure is adopted in which a protrusion extending from the frame is inserted into this hole, and the vehicle seat cover is locked by changing the bent state of the protrusion to a position where tension is applied to the vehicle seat cover. When fixing to the seat for use, auxiliary materials such as wires and cores are not required, and sewing work accompanying the use of the auxiliary materials is not required. As a result, it helps to reduce the manufacturing cost of the vehicle seat to which the seat cover is attached. Further, since the positions of the holes can be accurately determined at the time of manufacturing the vehicle seat cover, the seat cover can be attached and fixed accurately, and the occurrence of product defects such as poor appearance can be prevented.
