Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a die-molding part which is even joined to an extrusion-molding part having a core by spliting a core inserted in a glass receiving part along a partition line formed in a door glass inserting direction, as a boundary, by inserting the core until it reaches the extrusion- molding part, and by taking out the core through an opening. CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal side part 18 and a top side part 20 which have been previously molded are set in dies, and cores 34, 35 are inserted in the dies, the cores 34, 35 being separated from each other along a partition line L, as a boundary, formed in the insertion direction of a good glass pane 16, until they reaches to the longitudinal side edge part 18 so as to prevent a charged material from flowing into the longitudinal edge part 18. The core 34 is extended at its proximal end upward so as to form a hole 32 therein, and the core 35 is inserted from the opening K side of the glass run 17. After the longitudinal side part 10 and the top side part 20 are coupled together through the intermediary of a die-molding part 21 by charging a material, the core 3 is taken out by pulling the proximal end part 34A thereof through the hole 32 on a side near to the longitudinal side part 18 of the die-molding part 21, and the core 35 can be taken out through the opening K.

2. Description of the Related Art For example, as shown in FIG. 9, a grass run 1 attached to the inner peripheral edge of a door sash is known. The glass run 1 is a member having a substantially U-shaped cross section which is mounted in a recess formed on the inner peripheral edge of the door sash. The part is manufactured as the mold forming part 2.

When the glass run 1 is manufactured, a pre-manufactured extrusion molding unit 3 is set in a mold for molding the molding unit 2, and a material is injected into the mold to mold the molding unit 2 and the extrusion molding unit 3. And are integrally connected.

In the glass run main body 4 of the mold forming section 2,
As shown in FIG. 10, an inner lip 5 and an outer lip 6 are provided, but a door glass 7 received by the glass run main body 4 in order to make the vehicle body a flash surface.
Is offset to the outside of the passenger compartment, and therefore the outer lip 6 and the inner lip 5 have different sizes, and the outer lip 6 is smaller. Utilizing the fact that the outer lip 6 is small, the mold forming portion 2 having an internal shape that is difficult to remove from the mold as it is is manufactured by the following method.

For example, as shown in FIG. 11, a side wall 6A of the glass run main body 4 on the outer lip 6 side is unfolded, and a cavity-shaped mold (not shown) is formed so that the outer lip 6 is pressed against the side wall 6A. Using the core 8, the extrusion molding section 3 is set in a mold and the molding section 2 is injection molded.

After the molding, the molding portion 2 integrated with the extrusion molding portion 3 is attached to the inner peripheral edge of the door sash, so that the expanded side wall 6A becomes parallel to the opposing side wall 5A and inside the door sash. Fits. The outer lip 6 of the extrusion molding portion 3 is gradually crushed and is aligned with the outer lip 6 of the molding portion 2 (which is a simple protrusion).

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 12, by bending the side wall 6A of the glass run body 4 on the outer lip 6 side inward, the outer lip 6 is relatively pressed against the side wall 6A. Using a shaped mold (not shown) and the core 9, the extrusion molding section 3 is set in the mold and the molding section 2 is injection molded.

After the molding, the molding portion 3 and the extrusion molding portion 2 are integrated with each other. However, at the end portion of the extrusion molding portion 2, the side wall 6A is gradually deformed to be aligned with the outer lip 6 of the molding portion 2.

Therefore, in any of the above manufacturing methods, since the corner portion is not formed in the portion between the outer lip 6 and the side wall 6A of the molding portion 2, the cores 8 and 9 are molded. After the molding, the die can be smoothly demolded (this type of technique is disclosed, for example, in JP-A-63-43819 and JP-A-6-48181).

However, in the above-mentioned manufacturing method, there is no problem when the extrusion molding part 2 is molded only from rubber. For example, as shown in FIG. When the lower sash 10 is integrated with the core metal 11 like the glass run 1 at the corner portion between the lower sash 10 vertically arranged in the door body and the front side of the door sash, the core metal 11 is as described above. Because it cannot be deployed or bent,
The mold forming part 2 and the lower sash 10 corresponding to the above-mentioned extrusion forming part cannot be smoothly connected to each other so that they can be aligned with each other.

Further, as shown in FIG. 13, it is also possible to preform by lowering the side sash 10 by after-roll forming after preforming by temporarily expanding the side wall as in the case of FIG. However, the number of work processes increases, leading to an increase in cost.

Next, the manufacturing method will be described. First,
The preformed vertical side portion 18 and the upper side portion 20 are set in a mold (not shown). Inside this mold, a core 34 (one core) and a core 35 (the other core) are inserted in a portion which becomes a glass receiving portion near the vertical side portion 18. The cores 34, 35 are separated from the cores 34 and the inner lip 2 on the outer lip 23, 27 side with the partition line L provided in the insertion direction of the door glass 16 as a boundary.
It is divided into a core 35 on the side of 4, 28 and each core 3
4, 35 are inserted up to the vertical side portion 18 so that the injection material does not flow into the vertical side portion 18. And
The base 34A of the core 34 extends upward to form the hole 32, as shown in FIG. 2, and the core 35 is inserted from the opening K side of the glass run 17.

On the other hand, in the vicinity of the upper side portion 20 of the mold, since the upper side portion 20 does not have a core metal, the upper side portion 20 is manufactured by the same method as the conventional method or the same method as that of the vertical side portion 18. It is joined with 20.

Then, the material is injected and the vertical side portion 18 and the upper side portion 20 are connected by the mold forming portion 21 (FIGS. 1 to 3).
State), the core 34 is pulled out from the hole 32 by the base portion 34A near the vertical side portion 18 of the mold forming portion 21, and the core 35 is removed from the opening K.
Even if it approaches 0, the core outside the figure is removed.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, holes 32 are formed in the thin film 31.
Is closed and fixed with an adhesive to complete the production. As shown in FIG. 5, the end of the thin film 31 may be extended and joined by an Epto seal to close the hole 32.

Therefore, in the molded portion 21 thus manufactured, the shapes of the inner lip 24 and the outer lip 23 of the vertical side portion 18 having the cored bar 22 are changed,
It is not necessary to squeeze them, and the inner lip 28 and the outer lip 27 of the inner lip 2 of the vertical side portion 18

According to the invention described in claim 1, it is not necessary to crush each lip of the mold molding portion and the extrusion molding portion,
Since one core can be pulled out from the hole, each lip can be extended toward the inside of the glass run main body, a sufficient sealing margin for each lip can be secured, and variations in the door glass (plane direction) It is possible to obtain a product that also follows the dimensional error).
