Abstract

PURPOSE: To save a battery and to reduce the connection time by allowing a slave set to transit automatically to an inter-slave set direct speech mode from a standby state through a control radio channel and eliminating the need for scanning by a carrier for the inter-slave set direct speech. CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with a master set Z connecting fixedly to a wired telephone line and plural slave sets such as A, B, C connecting to the master set Z through a radio channel. The master set A uses a control channel to designate plural speech channels to form two-way radio channels among the slave sets A, B, C. When no communication is made between the master set Z and the slave sets A, B, C, they are connected by a control channel and when they are making communication, any of the speech channels is selected. Thus, without the standby reception through both of the control channel and the radio channel for inter-slave set direct communication for the master set Z by the slave sets A, B, C, the inter-slave set direct mode is transited automatically from the standby state through four control radio channels.

A cordless telephone of this type is disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No.
There is one disclosed in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 136437, in which when a calling handset calls a called handset, a free calling channel is detected from a plurality of calling channels, and then a transmitting frequency of the calling handset is used. Is set to the reception frequency of the control channel in the called station, the reception frequency of the calling station is set to the transmission frequency of the control channel in the called station, respectively.
The pass band is also switched accordingly, and the call channel detected by using the control channel is specified for the called station, and the extension call is made between the calling station and the called station by using this calling channel. It is something to do. In this method, even when a call is made between the slaves, the call channel is switched according to the instruction from the master.

Another example is Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-241.
There is one disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 129. This is because when a slave unit in a predetermined zone calls an arbitrary slave unit in the area, first, a call request and a response call are made between the calling slave unit and the incoming call-only master unit, and they are sent to the same channel. The link status is set. After that, in response to the input of the extension number by the calling handset, the extension of the calling-only base unit of each zone is automatically dialed by the incoming-call-only base unit. As a result, the dial signal of the extension number is sent to the exchange, and the ringing tone signal is sent from the exchange to the call-dedicated master unit and the call-providing handset in each zone. When the ID code of the called terminal is input by the calling terminal, the ID code is sent to the calling master side of each zone via the called master terminal and the exchange, and the ID
The code is transmitted and called to the child device in the zone.
When a call is made by the slave unit corresponding to the ID code, the call is received by the call-dedicated master unit in the zone,
The calling-only master unit and the called slave unit in the zone are set to the same channel and put into a linked state. In this way, the calling sub-unit and the called sub-unit are connected by the call-dedicated master unit, the exchange, and the call-dedicated master unit, and the cordless handsets communicate with each other.

When the direct communication function between the slave units is used, extension communication between the slave units is possible even if the master unit is not equipped with a 4-channel wireless device. It is necessary for the control carrier to wait for the incoming signal addressed to itself, and in order to make a direct call between the handset units, some operation is performed and the mode is switched to the direct call mode between the handset units. If you try to make an extension call between handset units using the direct call function, you can either verbally switch both handset and callee side handset units to the direct handset call mode.
The handset must be able to receive and receive by both the control carrier and the inter-handset communication carrier.

In the former case, the convenience of wireless communication cannot be utilized, which is inconvenient, and in the latter case, the battery consumption becomes larger than that in the case where only the control carrier is intermittently received. Further, in the method of direct call between handset units indicated in the standard RCR STD-28, the calling handset that activates the direct call between handset units is assigned as a radio carrier for direct call between handset units, and the frequency is 10 waves. From among the above, a vacant carrier is selected by carrier sense, and a ringing signal including the identification code of the called station is transmitted there. On the other hand, since it is not possible to specify which carrier and when the ringing signal is transmitted out of the 10 waves, the called machine always scans the 10 waves carrier in order without checking whether the ringing signal addressed to itself is transmitted. Need to be. For this reason, there is a problem in that an efficient intermittent reception operation cannot be performed, the battery is consumed so much that it is difficult to operate for a long time, and the time required for connection becomes long.
